Hello - I was just accepted to this school for the Spring 2020 class and was wondering if there were any current (or former) students who would have anything to say about the program? Good bad or whatever... thanks!

lol thanks! You did great too, your TEAS score is much better than mine and we have almost the same GPA. I'm sure you will get in. What classes are your currently taking? Today I confirmed my seat and paid the deposit so I think I'm all set. I believe they will contact me soon with start dates and an orientation date.

Hey, GPA 3.7 TEAS 72 I’ve taken AP 1 &2, ENG 1, PSY 1, SOC and I’m currently taking CHEM, Lifespan Dev & ENG 2. But you definitely don’t have to have any of the prerequisites completed and It does not matter for acceptance. We are required to take at least one class at UCC anyway. (They have no waiting list btw. ) I think as long as you meet the requirements you’re in. Definitely apply ! ?

So, here's the latest: I just logged in (their site is up again btw) and now I am NOT seeing the same message I saw yesterday (see screenshot above) but I am however seeing under "roles" the title "participant". That was definitely not there prior to yesterday. I did check under NCSP as you suggested but I do not see a contract there. I also have not received an email from them. I do not know what to think. At this point, I'm just rolling with it. Whatever it is it is. I've obsessed to the point of making myself sick over this now so I'm just trying to stay sane and go with the flow. lol

Oh I know. I’m not even remotely excited to find this. More like confused. I’m extremely leery of the whole process. So many glitches as you said. I’ll wait to see what happens next.

I just tried that and it does not work. Says cannot find a record that matches. Yet, another reason I'm leery. We shall see. With the site being under maintenance all day, I'm thinking there will be another round of emails on Monday. I remain cautiously optimistic.

When I login now I see this notification. This is the first time I'm seeing this and I'm not a past participant. I logged in the same way I always have, but now it says this about they participant portal. Anyone else getting this message when you login?

Thank you ! I hope you win as well. I'm maxed out on loans and already got money from FAFSA but there's still an unworkable balance due. I'm a military spouse and my husband is away at the moment. Things are already so stressful, I seriously need this to come through. Ughhh it's so frustrating I want to cry! We will all have our answers soon though. Wishing everyone here lots of luck! ?

So, with all of this uncertainty and with so many of us still waiting to hear something, I have to ask what is everyone's plan B? Will you withdraw from school? Or... ? I'm undecided but I do not have another way to pay for school so I may have no choice but to withdraw. ?

For those who have received finalist emails, I’m wondering if your school is public or private ? I’m thinking cost of tuition is part of their decision making process. Not sure to what extent tho...

Yes, I believe emails are still going out. I called on Monday and asked "so, if a person has not received an email at this time is it safe to assume we were not chosen?" The rep stated "no, not at all. Emails have gone out as late as 9/30 in previous years. " It's frustrating though since that is super late and most of us are starting school late Aug/ early sept.

I agree. Just like any type of award, people inevitably decline for various different reasons. Changes of circumstances, etc., it’s the same thing with waitlists for nursing schools. Sending good mojo to all ✌?

You can login to the same place you went for the actual application to check status.

I got a notification today that my credit was checked also. I didn’t apply for anything either. But ... when I went to my Credit Karma Account to see who checked it, there is nothing listed. Any time my credit is pulled the name of the agency pulling it is listed there. So Idk. Odd.

No confirm email here either but mine also says "under review"
