Spring 2016 MANE programs
Thanks for the insight on that Shawntay. It's always helpful to talk to others in the program to see what they're experiencing. I'll do what I have to, but definitely good to be a little prepped ahead of time. You're the first I've heard of who's looking at the night option at NHCC. It'll be interesting to see who else will be in the program. I'll see you there!

Spring 2016 MANE programs
Congrats! That had to be the toughest wait. Definitely tough competition this round, it seemed. Thanks for the heads-up on that Virgo. I've heard it's possible to work, but that many hours of sleep are sacrificed in the process. I'll have to see how things go, but part-time is obviously preferable if I can swing it.

Spring 2016 MANE programs
That is a good TEAS score, and deserving of acceptance :) I took it twice, and studied pretty intensely for it so hopefully it'll pay off. As for chemistry, they still require it as one the the four courses if you've already taken it. Spring 2016 applicants only, can write in a different course (as long as Chem wasn't taken, and it isn't a course needed in the nursing program).

Spring 2016 MANE programs
Hi RNJSN, thanks so much for the insight. It's really helpful hearing feedback from other students in the program. I do like the night option at NHCC, as I'm currently working full time. I've also found that the NCLEX-RN pass percentages are really good. I think results are similar at ARCC. I read one old post from a student who went to NHCC, but wished they attended ARCC, because their clinicals were more diverse. I realize much has probably changed but do have any knowledge or thoughts on that?

Spring 2016 MANE programs
Yeah, I was actually surprised by the differences in requirements. I had to transfer classes from the U of M, and just found out today that ARCC is accepting courses other than Chemistry for this round only. So, I was able to use a 4cr history course. Pretty lucky, as I haven't taken chem. I'm sitting at 2 A's, and 2 B's with a 82.7 teas, so hoping it'll be good enough. I heard that the average scores were around 79. I believe it's similar at NHCC. I was a bit stressed today as well, as I scrambled to get all my application materials completed. I had to get a hard copy of my U of M transcript mailed over, so sweating a little about the possibility it could vanish somewhere between Minneapolis and Coon Rapids. :) Gonna be a long wait until results are in, but I think we have a good chance of getting in.

Howdy! I'm actually applying to both NHCC and ARCC for Spring 2016. I'm currently trying to figure out which school is more reputable, but am getting different info from each site I visit. I may just go to the closest school (assuming I get accepted), if they're similar. Do you have any insight on differences/similarities? Good composite scores, btw! I think you have a good shot
