UNLV SON Fall 2015
I bought them from Chegg and Amazon. I did price comparisons between the two and purchased whichever was cheaper. I held off buying the NCLEX book; I asked a friend if we were going to need it right away and he said to wait until the professor brings it up. I guess we'll be using it as a review throughout the entire program.

I can't do ebooks and the bundle was just too much! I ended up buying used and paid around $350 for all of the books!

I think it might be cutting it a little too close to the cutoff. I had friends apply for Fall 2013 (90.4) and 2014 (89.44). There's a possibility, but it all depends on our cohort!

UNLV SON Fall 2015
Yeah, unlv and the offices are closed tomorrow. Maybe that's why they decided not to start calls this week yet. I'm sure they'll start Monday (hopefully).

I believe it's the higher score of the two as well. I'm just not sure if it's the overall test or individual test scores.

I have my signing session on Friday as well! I have a friend going to Roseman. I think his only complaint was the tuition prices!

I hope so, hellohello1! If I remember correctly, you get four hours for the entire test. The calculator is on the computer (if that made any sense).

Oh good! At least you thought it through and made time just in case you aren't happy with your score. I'm only applying to UNLV. I have 96 points, so I'm hoping that's enough to get me in!

UNLV SON Fall 2015
I'm really anxious and looking forward to this whole application process! The HESI wasn't too bad. I know while studying, I was extremely worried about the A&P section. However, it actually turned out to be very general information. The math portion was mostly fractions, decimals, and some conversions. If you have the review book, I would recommend doing the practice tests. I found them to be very helpful, and the questions were similar (if not a little bit harder) to what you would see on the actual exam. Take your time and read through the questions carefully. You can choose which test you want to take first (reading, grammar, math, or A&P). Your score will show up right after each test. Good luck to you!
