thank you!! yeah i will be using the stipend for daycare/nanny cost! i ll be under water with loans etc with out the scholarship too lol... ill add a post to your group !! so i can be on the notifications thank you!!!!

each essay is 5000 characters or less right !!! ?? okay i dont know how much help a facebook would be until we were accepted?? i just created a fb group for my accelerated program

not sure but i found like the judges panel example grading procedure from years ago CRITERION 3: Essay 1 (15 Points) Total Score: _______ The applicant describes his/her future desire ( i.e. he/she understands, can describe the need for and/or or has personal knowledge of underserved communities) to contribute to the mission of the NURSE Corps Scholarship Program by providing care to underserved communities CRITERION 4: Essay 2 (15 Points) Total Score: _______ The applicant clearly delineates their experience and activities (i.e., community service, volunteer, internship, research) which have prepared them to work with underserved populations. CRITERION 5: Essay 3 (15 Points) Total Score: _______ The applicant demonstrates a thorough commitment to a career in nursing. but yes please do not copy any verbatum essays it will ruin it for everyone --- not directing that towards you just everyone!! lol... not sure about a 2016-2017 post not sure where to do it and i looked on facebook only found 2014-2015 group and they didnt add me --prob bc its 2016 lol... ill keep looking!!!

Im trying to go to a accelerated program school in CT the scholarship would help me pay for daycare and some needs so im like gunning for it!!!

hi for those that got the award---- did you know early? my efc is 0, have a 1 year old single mom, undergrad 3.6, other classes A's pre reqs for nursing school. Worked in low performing schools as a teacher, came from undeserved community myself (foster care ETC) was it easy to get reimbursed if you took out a loan to pay the semester? any tips on essays?? should i apply for 1 year ? or 2 years (my program 1 year accelerated runs two months over the july 2017 deadline) if you did get the scholarship do you have to pay aLOT in taxes?? ANY HELP WOULD BE AMAZING!!! THANK YOU

okay great!! im applying for 2017-- missed one class so i cant apply for january 2016-- ugh .. but thinking waterbury campus because i live near middletown, between that and QU-the tough program-lol.. but uconn sounds competitive and all. I have heard mixed reviews some people dont feel prepared after they leave uconn. i have no medical background at all
