  1. Good luck to everyone applying. I've decided to get my bachelors in public health first and then hope to do the accelerated bridge option to nursing afterwards. If anyone has any information about that, I would appreciate it! Thank you!
  2. That's awesome. Congratulations!!!
  3. I know right. I am going back and forth with fscj trying to figure out a way to retake classes. An advisor told me that they will allow me to retake them if they have a letter from the nursing program stating I need to retake those classes in order to improve my score and get into the program. But I doubt they would do that. But it doesn't hurt to ask so I'm gonna email ms James
  4. I did. There weren't a lot of us there. It wasn't very informative at all honestly. We sat in a room and basically let us know to just improve on our hesi, and she gave us back our application to look it over. It was kind of pointless lol
  5. I don't remember my GPA. It wasn't terrible. My hesi score was a 75% so not that great.
  6. I have a question for anyone that has an answer... Did you ever have to go back and retake classes for a better grade? And if so, how did you do it? I've heard of people doing it but it seems almost impossible as I've tried working with the school and another community college to be able to do so. It's so frustrating! Any tips would be appreciated
  7. I believe I can retake classes at another institution on a non degree seeking status. I am retaking the hesi as well. Thank you for responding! Casey
  8. Awesome! I'll see you there :) Casey
  9. Yeah and she asked me what time I wanted, and that was it. She asked if I had gotten a denial letter and I said yes Casey
  10. The 10 one. Casey
  11. The HESI wasn't bad either. Basically the same thing with probably the same material. A lot of conversions, fractions, and cell structure questions. Casey
  12. Hi!! Welcome. How is the TEAS? I need to take that to apply for Fall of 2016 Casey
  13. Jess, are you going to the information session on the 20th? Casey
  14. If I re take it, I will do it on 11/24. Good luck to you again! Casey
  15. Yeah I was thinking that too! Anatomy is not fun but the information is super important and I'll definitely need the higher grades to improve my score. Thanks for the advice! Casey
  16. I'm going to the info session on the 20th at 10 am... You should go if you're schedule permits! They have another session at 4 pm. Casey
  17. You were so close! I just recently ran into a dilemma. I really want to apply for Summer but I would have to make a really good grade on the HESI to improve my score (because I got C's in 3 of my pre reqs). But since they accept less people in Summer, I may have a better chance. But I also want to re take my anatomy classes but I can't do that at FSCJ so I'd have to go somewhere else and re take them in the spring. So that puts me at applying for Fall 2016 (I don't mind days). I am also applying for Fall at UNF even though their program is very competitive. I just want to see if I have a chance anywhere. So I will probably apply for both, and just hope for the best. I just don't want to re take the classes for nothing! Even though I'm going to need the brush up anyway!! Casey
  18. I emailed her and she said we can attend we just have to call the number and register. Casey
  19. But also how are they to know whether we applied or not? If it's supposed to be an info session for the program. Casey
  20. Hmmm... I'm not sure? Maybe we could email Mrs James and ask her Casey
  21. I didn't know there was one. I'll definitely go. Where is it at? Casey
  22. Not sad at all and definitely not impossible. I've seen a handful of people declining their seat on the Facebook page. Good luck! Casey
  23. Another question for those who got accepted... Do updated immunization tests such as titer and TB count if we recently got them done through volunteering at a medical facility? Thanks Casey
  24. I was looking at that option. Thank you. Casey
