  1. Hey guys! I also received an acceptance email at 1704 yesterday. I interviewed Friday, and I’m located in San Diego. Never thought I’d be this excited to be going back to school haha. Excited to meet the rest of the cohort! ☺️
  2. Hey guys! Also had my interview earlier today. Good luck to you all :) this will be a long weekend haha ?
  3. Hello there -- I'd just like to point out that all of these residency programs have different application cycles and so yes... it is possible to receive multiple offers. Just because you accept an offer, does not mean that you hold on to it to the last possible minute nor do I come on the forum to let others know I have rescinded an offer afterwards. I've had some very personal life-changing circumstances that have come to light over the past 4-5 months hence my dynamic job search and quest to come back home (to the Bay Area where I am from). I do make it a point to explain these circumstances to HR, nurse managers, etc. Never in a million years did I expect to have multiple opportunities come my way, but please know it is not my "prerogative" to cuff these highly sought after positions and/or burn bridges. I'm sorry if I have offended you in any way... Hope this clears the air a bit. Feel free to PM me if you have any other concerns or questions. Good luck to you in your future endeavors.
  4. Sounds good! So long as I pass my boards, I should be starting at UCSF in their CVT unit. Would love to have the option to choose between CVT and MSICU though but nonetheless excited to have an opportunity there. Good luck to you!
  5. Congrats on passing your boards! Thats the next big hurdle I'm trying to prepare for lol. I would definitely follow up tomorrow using the contact method given to you by the UD you interviewed with since it's been a couple weeks.
  6. The interview took place on the 12th floor on Friday. But MSICU is split between the 9th and 13th floor.
  7. If you got ref check email after your interview I'd say you're in pretty good shape! Did your prospective UD give you any contact info in case you wanted to follow up?
  8. The UD explained to me that they would be giving names of their selected candidates to HR at the end of day Friday after all interviews have been completed and that HR would notify the selected candidates after successful completion of reference check. She said we'd know by end of the week this week, so I anticipate hearing from them soon?
  9. I didn't however i did for another unit prior to interviewing for MSICU. I don't believe UCSF as an institution asks for references twice. How about you?
  10. Still anxiously waiting! Haha
  11. Congrats on getting into a residency at DMC! Honestly for myself, i've given up on UCDMC lol. Guess it wasn't meant to be. I believe I'll also be starting in a different residency program this fall.
  12. I received the ref check email after my offer. I think every unit is slightly different with how they send out reference checks.
  13. I interviewed on Friday afternoon (June 22) and received the offer this morning Tuesday (June 26)
  14. just received an offer over the phone for 10CVT!
  15. Anybody receive reference check emails/offers yet?
  16. Congratulations on your job offer with UCLA :) What unit will you be starting on?! I'd love to connect with you and the others that'll be in our cohort. I don't believe a group has been created yet!
  17. I believe so unless units are having their new grads attend different/multiple new grad orientations. The email says: "Your first day of employment will be September 10, 2018, on which you will attend the new employee orientation "Day One: It Begins With U" from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. You will receive a detailed email on the location the week before your start date. That week, you will also attend nursing orientation (Tuesday through Friday) followed by CareConnect training the following Monday. You will receive a more detailed schedule of your first week at hospital orientation."
  18. They gave me a start date of September 10!
  19. CTICU made a few calls today with offers!
  20. Read on FB group that someone has an interview with M/S ICU next week... don't know if that means they're done selecting candidates to interview
  21. Congrats on the interview offer! Can I ask which ICU invited you to interview? Also, are you a local or internal applicant? TIA
  22. Interviewed 5/31 for CTICU - just received ref check email.
  23. Here's some info from a member from the RNInterviewTools FB group about the UC Davis Nurse Residency Program -- "I spoke with the recruiter today. He said they started looking at applications yesterday. And he hopes for managers to call applicants for interviews starting next week." I think being routed isn't saying much per say... but its movement nonetheless and our applications aren't just sitting around anymore. Shows we haven't been disqualified by HR and gives us an idea that they should be starting to send out interview invitations soon!
  24. Woo! Some movement! Mine says routed too :)
