Hi Brittany, thank you so much for replying! I have been placed on the alternate list for right now, so my admission to U of A is still on hold. Do you know anyone who was on the alternate list and got a spot, or got in the next time they applied?

Hi! Are there any U of A Nursing alumni or current students on here that would be willing to answer some questions I have regarding the program? I have applied to the program for Spring 2017 and have made it to the interviews. Being an out of state student, I am second guessing going to this school if I got accepted because how outrageously expensive it is. I haven't been able to get into nursing school in the state that I live in, but U of A is close to $80k for the two year program and I am trying to reason with myself. Any advice on what I should do if I got in would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! I received scores pretty similar to yours. Reading:90%, Grammar:96%, Vocabulary: 92%, Math: 86%, Cumulative Score: 91%. Did you receive an email that you made it to the interviews? I have a Skype interview scheduled since I am from out of state and I am pretty nervous about it!

Beejayaye, did you receive a response yet? I did this morning. She was able to clear some things up for me regarding my classes. She said "The full applicant list is in excess of 400 applicants representing over 1,000 applications." She also said "The area where your application had the most room for improvement was your science GPA. The average admitted science GPA was 3.61".

Well that makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who hasn't received a response! I didn't want to be annoying because I am sure everyone on the waitlist is trying to contact them. I just had questions regarding a few of my classes, so I am hoping to get some answers soon.

I have had no luck getting a response through email. I was gonna try to call tomorrow. Have you emailed or called?

Does anyone know the chances of getting in being an alternate? Edit: Sorry I just read the previous posts. I hope we get a spot!

lph1995, if you find out when the health work verification is due, please let me know! I recently just got hired as a new CNA, so I do not have 100 hours of experience right at this moment. If the verification isn't due until a couple of months, then I will be able to provide verification.

The supplemental application showed up on my web portal today

Hi! I have a lot of the same questions as you do about OU. I know you posted this back in July, so I wanted to see if you have gotten any answers since then? I too was wondering if I could take the 3000-4000 level class online and if it would hinder my chances of getting accepted if I haven't taken it yet.

Nevermind, I think there is something wrong with my webportal account. There's not even an option for Admission Status when there should be. So I've heard that people have gotten emails that they are in and emails that they are out. I haven't received anything.

How do you check your admission status on web portal? I don't see it anywhere when I log in :/
