  1. Do you know where I can find that? I'm not familiar with that. And if the interventions are currently published in NANDA I cannot use them. They have to be new nursing interventions.
  2. Hey guys, so I have a presentation next week and for part of the presentation I have to find a nursing research article (within 5 years, written by at least 1 nurse, all that jazz) that has a NEW nursing intervention in it that relates to my nursing diagnosis. Does that make sense? So basically, for decreased cardiac output I have to find a new nursing intervention. It can't be in a current textbook. (It can be for any of the three below though) And I just need one intervention. Anyway, I have looked everywhere I can possibly think of and I cannot find anything that works. If you guys have any articles it would be greatly appreciated. The three nursing diagnosis I have are below. Please help!! Risk for decreased cardiac output related to irregular contractions of the heart secondary to cardiac arrest. Acute confusion related to hypoxic areas in the brain secondary to cardiac arrest AEB patient experiencing short term memory loss, patient not remembering the period of cardiac arrest, and patient not being able to think critically. Situational low self-esteem related to inability to play contact sports secondary to ICD placement AEB patient stating he is frustrated with his current situation and patient appearing withdrawn.
  3. Hello, I am very new to allnurses so I apologize if this has been asked before or if it is in the wrong forum. I will be graduating in December 2015 with my BSN. I plan to work for a year or two and then go back to graduate school. However, I am not sure what graduate degree to pursue. When I finally do attain my graduate degree I would like to work in a hospital, at the patient bedside, involved in direct patient care, along side physicians, PA, etc. My question is this: which graduate degree should I pursue? From my reading I have gathered that CNS seem less marketable than a FNP. However, I am not sure if an FNP degree would allow me to work where I want to work. If anyone could enlighten me with this information I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
