US Army Graduate Program in Anesthesia Nursing (USAGPAN) - 2027
I would definitely apply. You have a solid resume. There's no shame in failing only in not trying when you have a good chance of success. If you don't get in this cycle see if taking an extra science course or two might boost your chances. Also you might contact Ms. John's or Maj Houhoulis about the requirements for retaking classes. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have to be from the same university. I had failed one of my science classes and I believe she told me to consider retaking it from a different college, but I could be wrong. Where are you stationed if you don't mind me asking. I'm a 66S on the reserve side. Are your OERs good?

Per Diem vs Full time in San Francisco
I am currently thinking about applying for a per diem job in the San Francisco Bay area. Does anyone have any experience working per diem in the Bay area? I am specifically wondering how many hours I can expect to get working nights per diem.

Informatics? Please help me because I'm 100% lost
I am hoping someone can help me understand what education I need to get my foot into nursing informatics. Some background: I am a BSN nurse with 8 years of experience ER, ICU. I have very little in the way of computer training. My question is this. Is it possible for me to get a job in informatics as a BSN if I take an associates informatics/computer degree. My plan would be to continue getting educated at least to a master's level in this specialty. Thanks in advance for the help. Josh

How to become a state board nursing member?
Does anyone know where I would look for information about becoming a member of a state board of nursing? I live in Maine and have looked through the Maine state board of nursing site, but I do not see any information about how to become a member. I did notice that there are 4 members who's terms have expired and that there are 2 vacant seats? Any help would be appreciated.
