  1. No. Spring 2017 happened to be sort of an anomaly. There were so many people who got accepted that did not participate, for one reason or another, SPC not only invited all alternates they even extended invitations to some people who received decline emails.
  2. If you haven't gotten your titers yet, the Health Department in St. Pete only charges $5 for each titer, $20 for tb test, and $49.33 for Tdap.
  3. Nothing for me yet.
  4. I was under the impression this is their last one. Their website says beginning fall 2017.
  5. I read on the thread from last spring that someone got in at alternative 25. So my fingers are still crossed!
  6. Congrats on getting into the other school.
  7. You actually still have a pretty good chance of getting in. Some people decide to go to different schools, or they drop out for personal reasons, could be anything (family, health, etc.)
  8. Im alt 20. Missing micro means we only have 26 of the 30 points needed giving us a total of 66 points. The average person accepted had 68 points.
  9. Hopefully not any later than that. At least all the waiting is over and the day is finally here, its been a long 3 months!
  10. If anyone gets a notice let us know. I know I'll be checking my SPC email every millisecond tomorrow. My wife thinks they are going to make us wait until 5:00 before sending out emails, she is waiting as well. Hopefully not! Good luck to everyone!
  11. Nothing yet, still impatiently waiting!
  12. Not yet, but the email for the SPC Alert test had me on pins and needles. So Mandy, I guess my prediction was wrong.
  13. No, neither of us are dropping. I was just thinking about taking some of the pre-reqs for the bachelor's degree during the summer.
  14. Congrats!!!! Quick question, if a student was selected for the day program do you think it would be overwhelming to take additional classes during the summer? I understand every students situation is different, I just wanted the opinion of some one who has actually been through the program.
  15. I'm currently in the exact same situation! I believe we have a good chance of acceptance. I was told there aren't as many applicants for spring semester. Do you know if we have to take the TEAS or not?
  16. Anyone applying on allnurses for spring 2017?
  17. I'm glad you guys have carried on this post for so long. I plan to apply for Spring 2016, and this post has answered several questions that I had. Thanks!
  18. Where you an alternative? If not, did you get in this semester?
  19. I know. I also know I have a good chance of being an alternate. If I don't make it in im okay with that seeing as how I would have had to wait a semester anyway. So I figure its not going to hurt me to go for it!
  20. I'm in anatomy 2 and ethics now. Taking stats this summer and micro in fall. My wife and I are hoping to get into the program spring 2017. I've been looking at allnurses and asking everybody I know about everything there is to know about getting into the program, lol. I just want to make sure I am fully prepared when my time comes, it seems like spring 2017 is tomorrow. What about you?
  21. Thanks, I've been calling all this week it tells me they are too busy to answer and to call back later.
  22. Does anyone know where I would take the Accuplacer Test for admission into the SPC Nursing program? When can I take it, and how long are the resultsbgood for? Do I need to take the whole test or just the reading portion? Thanks in advance.
