  1. I just took my state test yesterday. And I wore a tank top and slide on shoes. But some girls wore normal t-shirts and tennis shoes and our tester didn't care in the least and they all passed.
  2. I hope this this proves to be true. And hopefully I will encounter someone I can trade a task off with. Ill do something they dislike for something that doesn't bother me. And vise versa.
  3. I REALLY hope so. Thank you!
  4. There's lots of things I can deal with, feces, urine, vomit. Most gross things I can handle. But I was wondering if CNA's have to change the phlegm sucker. Sorry not sure of the right term for it. I just know when my grandma was sick she had one to suck the phlegm from her mouth and throat and it went into this container on the wall. Anyways it completely grosses me out just thinking of it. Is is a CNA task to record/empty this thing? I want to know if I need to get myself mentally prepared for it or if I'll be dodging a bullet.
  5. Sounds very wise. Thank you.
  6. Will we state it before and after the skill or just after?
  7. I'm soon to take a CNA class but I like to study up as much as possible before hand. In all the skills videos I see for the state exam they don't mention washing your hands before the skill begins. Is it presumed you already washed your hands or would you say it allowed to the examiner?
  8. Maybe a sweatband.I know it may look a little silly since your not a athlete but hey as long as sweat isn't dripping all over the place I would consider it a win.
  9. This is the place I will be attending next month its in woodstock, Ga which is 30 min north of Atlanta, maybe its worth checking out. Giving Care Education Center, Woodstock, GA | CNA Training | CPR Training
