CiaMia: I was just accepted to the MCPHS Manchester ABSN and am deciding on whether to pick it over other programs. If you don't mind, I have a few more questions for you. - What is the city of Manchester like? What kinds of things are there to do for fun? Do you suggest any particular housing? - What is the academic calendar like for the program? Are there any holiday breaks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring, etc.)? If so how long do they last? Thanks!

CGroeneveld I received my letter on Thursday of last week. They do not state where you are ranked, they just ask you to fill out a form to confirm that you accept your position on the waitlist.

Did anyone else get a waitlist letter in the mail? If so are you planning to accept your spot on the waitlist?

CGroeneveld I also applied early (Feb 23rd) and was told that they would view applications in the order they were received. I guess we just have to be patient, apparently most of us are in the same boat.

CGroeneveld, thank you for sharing that information with us. I called today and they also told me that my application has not been reviewed yet. However, I was told that because MNU graduation just took place they were all very busy over the past few weeks and should be getting back to the applicants much quicker now. Hopefully we hear back soon!

I was waitlisted today, hoping for good news down the road. Does anybody have any idea as to how many people from the waitlist typically end up being accepted?

Just received a notification that my admission decision has been made, but I am having trouble accessing CaneLink because I have never attended the University of Miami. Does anybody know how I can log in?

I finished my NursingCAS application Feb. 23rd and got a notification that it was sent to MNU during the 2nd week of March.
