Hi guys. I just sat for my NCLEX RN this morning at 8am in the state of Alabama and now I await the results 🤤. I have to say that it wasn't as daunting as I thought it would be. That's either a good thing or bad thing. Lol. I did the PVT trick thing and it wouldn't let me register again so hopefully that means I passed. I got 75 questions by the way with several SATA, a few exhibit type questions and a fill in the blank question. I'll update you guy's on whether I passed I or not. I didn't use Hurst, Kaplan or Uworld as they were all too expensive at this time. My school did the ATI review in April and that was the only time I had looked at that info. I don't know whether those review courses really help with Nclex or not, but I'll see tomorrow, hopefully, whether or not I should have used any other sources 😂😂😂

Yes. I will be working full time, but I work 12 hr shifts on the weekend Fri-Sun, so I'm hoping that we won't have classes on Fridays or I will have to drop down to just two days.

Congrats LadySmall!!! Okay. So through the Calhoun Nursing mentors and people at work, I've just about gotten all the books I need. Right now I just have a few immunizations to get and I should be ready to go! Excited! Wish the orientation was sooner because I'm ready to meet everyone and get more info! By the way, I'm Danielle. I'm getting all my books for free from someone that's graduating in a couple of days. I would try to see if there is a graduating person that would either give you the books or sell them to you for a cheaper price. The cost of those books are crazy. But the editions don't really ever change much.

I'm going to get my vaccines done but I think that I'm going to wait on the background check until orientation to see what they say about it.
