3 weeks til orientation! Y'all getting excited? I am! I've got everything done besides the drug test.

I think that's a great idea Brandi! I'm glad to know others will be working as well as attending school. I know it's gonna be a struggle but in the end all will pay off. I'm anxious to know our school schedule so we can also figure out our work schedules! Looks like it's time to make a facebook page to join all these great nursing groups y'all!

Hey Danielle! I'm Kassandra! I don't have a facebook but I reckon I might should make one then. Will y'all be working while going through school? I'll be continuing working myself.

Brandi, how do y'all know which books we'll be needing? Sounds like you got your ducks lined up well. I have got all my medical stuff except for the 2nd part of the TB test & I need to renew my CPR license. I can hardly wait til our orientation to get more info! Can't wait to meet everyone also!

I haven't purchased any books yet. I don't plan on getting the newest edition anyhow. They're usually just not worth the money.

I wish our orientation was sooner so we could get more info! I'm anxious to find out more information about our next 2 years!

Thanks Drummonds, I called the company and they said my cost was higher because of having a maiden name. They said I am unable to change the settings & the company is unable to as well. They said the college can change it, but I decided to pay the extra $17 instead of the hassle of calling the college and not even knowing who to speak with. So now I'm just waiting to do the drug test.

@BDrummonds, Did you figure out why the background check was higher for you? Mine is coming up higher than the $71 as well.

I'm just planning on hearing word at 6 weeks now. This wait is like slow torture.

We've just about hit 2 weeks! We're possibly half way there now! If not 1/2 way, were 1/3 of the way! Yay!

I don't plan on doing my CPR anytime soon because mine is currently active. BrandiWine, they're fun to look at right?! I have one (I am an xray tech and we do nursing as well where I work at) it's the Littmann Raspberry Rainbow stethoscope. I LOOOOVE mine! They have a teal color with rainbow also, one of my coworkers has it & it's pretty too.
