  1. Have you taken any Micro or Human Anatomy courses before?
  2. Hi! I am a mature student from the states. I am currently enrolled to York University. I originally applied for their Nursing Program but I was shy of credits. So as of now, they have placed me under the Health Studies Program as I complete the prerequisites for the 2nd Entry Nursing Program. I was wondering would it be a good idea, if I transfer to Centennial College or George Brown to be in their Collaborative Nursing Program with Ryerson Uni. I have 30 credits and currently completing 22 credits now. I have taken Micro, Anatomy & Physiology I & II, Psychology, Sociology, Chemistry, Humanities and etc. I was wondering, if I apply to Centennial or George Brown, since I have taken some of the "nursing courses" would there be a chance that they will credit my course and lessen my time at the college? Or should I just stay in York trying to complete the prereqs then apply and wait to be accepted for the 2nd Entry Program. The whole thing feels so uncertain. I went to a guidance counsellor at York for advice. She told me to just pursue Health Studies and give up on Nursing. Which frustrated me because I already have taken a lot of classes that is for nursing. She also told me that they only accept 15 students to the 2nd Entry Nursing Program which I am very skeptic to hear. Right now, I feel like I am taking classes that aren't really related to nursing and I don't need too.. I feel like I would rather be in a collaborative program, at least I know my classes are going to credited and on my way to graduating. I hope my question made sense. I am a little bit frustrated because I don't know if I am going to the right direction.
