cassieann20, please listen, stay in Chicago and finish nursing school. They are caring, and willing to help. If you work and study hard in Chicago you will more than likely get through without retracking a bunch of times and go to LPN school or fail out. At BC nursing school should be just a review for you. You have to already know the information. The teachers tell you that you should already know the material. Don't think that you are going to get any assistance from anyone. Then to top it all off, the cost of living is through the roof and they grudgingly pay you $8.05 per hr and work you to death. Don't be sucked in by the passing rate at BC. Take a close look at the large amount of students they accept every semester, then see how many graduate which includes the retrackers. Think carefully.

JLA, Just remember, It is possible, it can be done. Just be diligent in doing everything they say, and focus on school alone if that is possible for you. Don't pay attention to the "smart kids", just quietly do your thing and you will make it through. (We will make it through)

I am still mad that they didn't post the names of the teachers for Process I and II and allow us to make a choice who we wanted.

Is Dosage Calculations 3rd edition good, or we should get the 4th edition.

Tell you the truth I would transfer if I could (where their is smoke there is fire). And, sneaking into the other class (don't take everything so literal, was a JOKE, I know protocol). Since I can't transfer then I am going to make the best of it and I will work extra hard and make me and the teacher proud. I do get a little anxious because if their is a easier way then I want it, thats all.

I was expecting nursing school to be hard but I was not expecting this problem. I know how to study, it becomes an obsession for me. I just need to learn how to study for the nursing tests.

Well, would like Folas lectures. Maybe someone will record it on their phone and then send it through email to all of us. I heard that she presents the information in a way that her students can understand it. If it means that I have to go on Fridays and sneak in her lectures then I have to. Hoping I can get someone to record at least Mondays. Maybe we can suggest that they combine the classes for lecture then we go back to our own class after that. There is power in numbers, we really should suggest it. By the hook or the crook I am going to pass that class, even if I have to spend every waking hour with my head in the books.
