  1. I subscribed and filled out the form! :)
  2. 3.5 GPA and 83 on TEAS. Good luck!!
  3. Congratulations to everyone that got acceptances and good luck to all others waiting!!
  4. Me too, getlostgetfound, I'm in!!!!! Woo hoo!! Now to get through the next two years!! See you at orientation :-)
  5. You're not alone, I'm 35 with 4 kids and working part time. Became a first time college student this past fall. It's hard work, but there are people doing it all around. There are those of us that didn't take the conventional route of college right after high school and then there are those that are changing careers. You're never to old to finish your goals (or just to make some new ones and go after those).
  6. Hi, it's great you were able to overcome your obstacles and get accepted! You should be graduating this May, have you made it or were there any set backs?
  7. Good luck, secquoria, CNA
  8. SouthernNurse15, it is forever! Good luck to you! I know April is a definite for mine because there is an initial orientation date in May
  9. I feel the same way Ryno. I've heard of a few rejection letters so far. I have not gotten one so good sign I guess.
  10. Thank you, Lesia321
  11. Good luck to you too, Lesia321. April just seems so far away!!
  12. Good luck! The wait is torture!!
  13. So I'm currently in the Allied Health Pre-Professional (A.S.) program and have managed a 3.571 and got an 81% on the TEAS. I believe 60 is the average, but as I stated above the Dean was very clear when he said a GPA of 3.0 is a minimum even though the website states a lower GPA. Since my high school GPA was 2.78 I took 12 college credit this fall so that they would consider that GPA instead. I have no previous degree and am currently a medical assistant.
  14. I just realized it said 2.83. From what I was told GPA should be above 3.0, sorry. I read 3.83...
  15. Sorry, I just realized I misunderstood. I actually am not sure that you have a good chance. I was told by the Dean of Nursing you need the below to actually be considered.
