Hi! Im in the evening class and i know most people in my class averaged between a 3.2-4.0 GPA when we would all talk about it. As long as you have a good GPA and teas score you have a really good shot at getting in( I think)

Hi everyone! I just finished my first semester in the nursing program. My advice would be to read as much as you can now in your foundations book! You read practically that whole book in the first 8 weeks. The study guide book and online stuff with it is awesome and I would highly recommend using them. You only use the calculation book to learn basic conversions for meds and not till later on in the 8 weeks. The drug book,lamone,and Ackley are pretty much used for your clinical paperwork. They really focus on the foundations book until you get to commons. But read read read because it will catch up with you fast in the 1st 8 weeks!

Hi! I'm currently in my first semester at baptist. :) when I applied I had everything well before the priority deadlines filled out, but still didn't find out I got accepted until literally the last day of the two weeks. definitely was not fun because I had seen in previous semesters they found out much sooner. So don't worry if you don't find out right away!

All you need for Baptist is a&p 1&2 and micro. It doesn't specify on the pre reqs if they don't accept it so I would say yeah.. Rebecca is the advisor for the RN program and is good about responding to emails quickly. Just shoot her a quick email!

My processing day is July 21st but I signed up for a CPR class at baptist on July 18th. :)

Got my acceptance letter! I'm in the night program though. So excited!! @addy88 sorry I haven't replied to you I was waiting to see if I got in. I got into the night program and my teas was a 74 as well. Good luck!

@cheria_22 you will get an email too even if you didn't get accepted. I applied a little late for summer and got an email saying I didn't get in.

@akeyes okay I got all my stuff in and got that email too. I know people found out a lot sooner last year.. The wait is taking forever!

@Badgertastic did you have your professor email Rebecca your grade? Sometimes they will take that and use it until the transcripts come in.

@addy88, Don't feel bad! I had to retake it because I was over thinking the English part even though it was so easy. I let the nerves get the best of me. The priority deadline is May 15, but final deadline is June 15. If there is an option to take the test even a few days before the 30 day mark they usually make an exception. Just email your advisor to get the okay but usually they will. They should have some at st. Mary's on the computer but I'm not sure..

Haha same here. I got really excited but she told me that it was to gain clearance to participate in an RN program. She said it takes awhile to get this clearance so they send it out early. I'm just hoping it is a good sign since I didn't get this email when I applied for summer but had already passed the TEAS. I guess we will all just have to wait a couple more weeks!

Well I emailed the advisor and she said it does not mean you are officially accepted but becuase it takes so long to do the background checks and fingerprinting they send it once you pass your TEAS. I passed it back in February and im just getting the email but I sure hope it does! I applied for the summer program and didnt get in or get this email so hopefully it is a good sign? Who knows! :-)

I read on a bshp board on here once when a student was asking what other people got she said she was hearing like 75 or so. That was from about a year or two ago so im not sure about now. I just got an email about the finger printing process, has anyone else recieved one about this since they've passed their TEAS? I didnt get this when I applied for summer.

Thanks guys! I think that a lot of people apply here, but not as many as SAC or UTSA. My grades are similar. Good luck on the teas! The only thing I'd practice would be math because you can't use a calculator and the time goes by quick on that section! Haha

@nmanely7 I have also had trouble finding that! What do your grades and teas score look like? Trying to see if mine are even competitive enough.

I've applied as well and can't wait yo hear the news! If you don't mind i was wondering what you got on your teas and what your grades looked like? I'm not sure if what I have is competitive enough to get in. I just want to kinda see what other people have to compare. Good luck to us all!
