Hey all, So I'm currently nursing in England and hold a bachelors of nursing (Adult). I am moving to the United States ( Florida) in a few weeks and have applied via cfgns for a ces report. Just wondering if anyone else has applied using this and how long it usually takes & is it usually sucessful. Thanks Rachel

Hello i was wondering if anyone could help, i was wondering if any international nurses used CFGNS to validate there credentials for Florida? I know on there website it doesn't list them however there website seem the most easiest to use and it also seems the most popular with all the other States. Thanks Rachel

Hey all. In December I am relocating with husband to america (He is a US citizen), if I want to apply to take the NCLEX any ideas on routes I'd have to take. I looked into this a while ago and discovered I had enough peds, mental health and obstetrics experience but I know that i need to send off my qualifications and cant remember that process. Hey!! I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice.. I'm going to graduating university in november and i have my first job already at a&e (ER). Although my course is predominantly adult nursing, in order to graduate and qualify we do have to show that we have experience with paediatrics, obs and mental health... all of which I have through doing clinical placements in both gynae and a&e.. I was wondering if any one knows the set amount in order to be able to take the NCLEX. Or the best process in order for me to get out there. I dated a guy for three years so i've spent the majority of my time over there and have so many friends now and I just see my life there rather than in England... if someone could give me some advice on best routes to take it'd be greatly appreciated. Hey I do have experience with obstetrics but it depends how much experience is required? When we pass university they sign to say if we have experience in mental health, obs, peds but this all very little experience as majority is adult. Would this be a major problem?

Hey! I'm about to start my gynaeoncology ward in a few weeks, i was wondering if any one should know what to expect.. I've been asked to write a plan of clinical skills I would like to achieve and I seem to have blank on these.. so far I have put.. -participate in drug rounds -Put in and take out female catheter -Practice and become more confident at drawing up injections -Give an IM injection Now I'm blank. Can anyone think of anything else that may be available or that all students should try and achieve before qualifying.. Thanks!

Hey, I was wondering if anyone would be able to offer some advice. I'm currently doing a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing, in this course although it is predominantly Adult Nursing we do come across paediatrics, mental health and learning disabilities which all as to be signed off throughout our three year. Anyway I have one year to go and I am currently hoping to get a 2.1 or a first ( I guess depending how the third year goes). Once qualified I would like to make the move to the US in TN as I am currently dating and have been for the last year an American Citizen and he lives in TN. I know I would need to take the NCLEX is there anything else I would need to do in relation to Visas and nursing overseas. Hope someone can help. Thanks Rachel
