  1. Thank you! :) Um i live pretty much in between them so it would be nice to have an option between the two of them!
  2. Every school needs a wait list honestly because if they can only admit say 40 then they will accept 40 and who ever doesn't accept there offer they will invite more people from the wait list to get their program at exactly that number.
  3. I just talked to them and they said that I should have received an e-mail saying that I was wait listed for the New Brunswick campus. So I guess they are doing a wait list? I heard its possible to get into both and then you just pick which campus and thats why I applied to both
  4. I applied to both Newark and New Brunswick campuses. Is it possible to get into both? My letter just said that I was accepted into the newark campus but it said nothing about new brunswick.
  5. I had received an e-mail this morning saying I was accepted! I'm not sure why they are saying that they are not sending e-mails and why I got one. Not sure if I will be accepting their offer or not yet because I was accepted into another program and I'm already halfway done with their requirements for clinical. It's such a tough decision. Rutgers has a great reputation and its a lot cheaper than my other school I was accepted to but they seem unorganized right now? Not sure what to do :/
  6. So does anyone know what they are doing with the certified background due dates? Are they going to push the due dates back? Because a few things of mine are now rejected because it says its past the due date now that its June 1.
  7. Thanks for the reply! I will look into all of that! I got my clinicals in great hospitals in New york city for Pace and I think that is super exciting but I keep telling myself that it isn't all about the hospitals, its also the school and my education I will get from there. I don't want to base my decision just on the hospitals when I will be there once a week.
  8. oh wow, thats encouraging to hear good things about Pace and the one year program. I got into both Seton Hall and Pace and I am still debating between the two schools, although I am leaning toward Seton Hall because of all the negativity I have heard about Pace. Does anyone have any advice? I feel like Pace will almost be too overwhelming since I would be commuting from north jersey to the city. Thanks!
  9. oh okay thank you! Also, how many people do they accept?
  10. Do you guys know if there will be a new brunswick campus as well? I applied to both campuses, but I know they have combined the two in the past.
  11. Okay thanks! Is everyone on this thread commuting? I live in north jersey and I'm not sure if I will be able to make that commute everyday so I may have to look for an apartment.
  12. Thank you! :) Does anyone know what the schedule is like once the program starts?
  13. Hi guys, so I got the phone call today saying that I am off the wait list and now accepted into the program!
  14. Just one. I took the wrong developmental psych. My school only offered a developmental psych that only focused on aging instead of the lifespan
  15. Does anyone know if you can still be accepted to the program while your finishing a prereq in the summer before the program starts? Or do you have to have all of the prereqs completed before you can be considered?
  16. Is the program in new york city different then pleasantville though? Is it different teachers?
  17. Hi Vicki I unfortunately was also wait listed! From previous posts about this program it seemed like a lot of people get put on the wait list
  18. For those of you who were accepted, did you guys receive a packet in the mail about things that need to be done? They told me at the interview that if you were accepted, they would send you all of that information in the mail but I did not. However, I did receive an e-mail with this information the day after I received my acceptance e-mail. Also, it says that we should be getting our schedules and clinical sites this week. Did anyone receive an e-mail yet about scheduling and your clinical site? Thanks!
  19. Yeah I was told that they don't interview many people so that is definitely good news! This wait is killing me, but May isn't too far from now! Hm.. that is weird but it sounds like a good sign!
  20. Hi all, I did not see a thread about Seton hall's accelerated nursing program starting in the fall 2015 so I decided to create one. I recently had an interview with Seton hall for the accelerated nursing program and I'm very eager to hear back from them with their decision because I am very interested in the program. Is there anyone else in this position? Also, is there anyone who was in this program and can tell me about their experience with the program. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!
  21. Thank you! I wasn't sure if they review before the application is due or not. Its unfortunate that they don't make a decision till June because I applied to other schools that I should be hearing back from soon and if I get in, I would have to make a decision soon. Rutgers is my first choice, so I don't want to commit to another school until I hear back from them. Not sure what I will do if I get into other schools.
  22. Hi, I applied to the fall program and I have an interview on Monday. I'm a little worried because from what I have read, a lot of people get kicked out of the program and don't like this program. Is anyone in this program currently or was in the program and can tell me if it has improved? I know that the posts about the program being bad was from a couple years ago and I'm not sure if it improved. Thanks!
  23. Your suppose to put your whole transcript
