I enjoy being an RT. The reason why is because you start learning about the medicine side of things. Although it focuses more on the cardiopulmonary system, you would also have to understand the Nursing side as well. So it gives you a good insight on what you as an RT do as well as learning what the Nurses do. I work mostly in the Intensive Care Units.

I wish both of you luck! I am wanting to know as well because I am trying to get into the 2017 September slot, my cgpa though is 2.94, and my HESI is 88%. I am working as a Respiratory Therapist. I hope the committee sees that I am working in the medical field already. I hope that shows some kind of edge in the competitive streak?

Hello, I am trying to apply for the September 2017. I am so close to having a CGPA of 3.0, so its around 2.95, but I know that the GPA is 2.75 minimum. I already know how competitive it is already, but I have past medical work history as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and am currently working as that. I wonder how the committee looks at that in comparison to others as well as how competitive that is.

Hello, I am trying to get accepted into the 2017 August block. I am wondering how does the Committee look at past medical experiences as being competitive. I am a current Respiratory Therapist who works closely with critically ill patients. I want to know if my license counts towards a competitive streak?
