Hey Guys sorry I had no idea people were replying to me. So I did end up getting licensed with no restrictions. November 25 2023. I believe my case was heard in the beginning of November before the board. My checklist didn't get updated untill the actual day they issued the license. It was a long process, but I think the best bet with the board is to be honest and to show as much proof as they need. I also had to go to the board almost every day for the last two weeks just to get them to move on it.

Thanks a bunch for that. I answered "yes" to being arrested, they just wanted more information. We will see what happens I guess. Do you have any restrictions on your license. Or on a probation period? I was hoping that wouldn't happen.

Thank You so much for that. Yes I took my boards since March. I had to wait so long to get a copy of my police report so that delayed my process a lot. My one arrest was dismissed and the records were sealed and thrown out. I gave them documentation showing that. You think I'll still be fined? Just curious was the fine hefty ? Just trying to prepare myself for what might happen. Congratulations on being licensed, the best in your career.

I am in a similar situation and reading these stories are so helpful. I had theft charges dismissed from 13 years ago. I submitted my court documents along with my application. I passed my NCLEX 3/20/2023 and still under review. It's so nerve wrecking and stressful. I am keeping faith and praying that everything goes well. Hope the same for everyone else on the thread as well.

Reading this post inspired me. I really want to start lpn school later this year but was a bit skeptical because I would have a new baby but you truly help me make a decision. I'm happy to hear that it's possible. Thanks!

Hello I'm really interested in applying to best care but I wanted to know if they accept facial aid? It seems to be a private school so I wasn't sure about that.
