Part Time Practical Nursing Seneca
Hi there, I finished the part time program last semester. It was not easy to get in. They required us to have 70% minimum in all pre-requisites or 75% average for all pre-requisites. I applied the 1st time in October for 2015 Winter intake, but did not get in since i was still taking chem & bio, they need all pre-requisites to be completed before applying. Once i completed my pre-requisites (which i took at Seneca and ILC), i then applied for the summer 2015 intake - I then got a spot.

Part Time Practical Nursing Seneca
I'm at Seneca Part time nursing too. I started last summer 2015 as well. Like Normad said, it is very flexible, evening & weekends, and even for clinicals we have an option to do them on Saturday, I'm going into 4th level now:) yey:) When i started, i always took a full course load, it is doable if you keep on top of your studies. I'm also doing my 2nd clinicals which is amazing, although can't wait to finish my level 400 next semester. It's been a ride, but love it.

Hi Sevillje, So i just checked grades and i didnt pass 1 class. Health Assessment. I know why, i lost my grand parents during exam time, but i still managed to pass the other 4 classes with 1A even though it's SAT i know i got an A( Math - wasn't bad as i thought it would be, and 3Bs. Surprised Healing 200, got a B, definitely thought i will end up with a C. But now i don't know if i will be kicked out of the program because of this health assessment, i know at orientation they told us we can only fail 1 class but i'm not sure, i wanted to hear from someone experienced. i'm really scared. I hope i do continue. I have registered for Health Assessment again this semester and i'm going to kick its butt. But i was thinking of also taking Role 300, Anatomy 200 and Pharmacology. I'm also going for clinical 220 on Saturdays. Do you think it will be doable?

Wow amazing thanks for the information. I definitively will try to get into ****'* class for Anatomy. My clinical will be on Saturday. I really wanted to take healing 300 next semester i think it's offered the same day as anatomy on Wednesdays i believe that's why. I was thinking of adding pharmacology just so i can have 4 classes.. but i won't. i will take it in the summer instead- thanks for this advice. I finished all my electives before nursing school:) thank God for that because it gave me a heads start. i don't have to worry about writing literature essays lol. So are you in 320 for clinicals? Is 220 hard? I had there is a lot of care plans.. and do you do 8hour 12hour shifts?

Hi there, yes i submitted everything except for one course that i have to submit by December. I don't when i will know if i get placed foe clinical. All classes are good so far except for healing 200 and health assessment. They are a bit challenging. Critical thinking questions are still hard but I'm learning through. If all goes well next semester I'm thinking of taking role300, anatomy200, patho300 and clinical. are these doable? let me know Also are you now in level 300 or 400. thanks for all your help..

Hi Sevijille, Thanks for your advice last semester. I ended up taking just 5 classes - anatomy, healing, lab100, clinical prep and med terminology. I had to drop Math as it was way too many courses for me, so i am taking it this semester:) and its not so bad. I was so mad because i couldnt get a sit for role100 last semester, but anyways taking it this semester too. So i have role100, math, healing200, lab200 and health assessment. Do you think these are doable or i'm setting myself for crazy studying? I want to take my clinical placement next semester that's why. I hope you are enjoying your semester:) Gosia

Girl, 22 is way too young, you can do this. I'm going into nursing school at 33. And I'm so excited, I finished my pre-reqs just last semester too.
