  1. Does anyone know the details about getting the background check and drug test?
  2. I also got into days! Look forward to meeting you all!
  3. Anyone hear anything yet???
  4. Mine are too. If we all get in, I look forward to meeting you all and becoming nurses together! :)
  5. No we still find out today at 5. LPN program finds out next week. I just called now and spoke to a nursing advisor.
  6. Call and have them change it. I had them change my major before I applied.
  7. Yes, good luck everyone!! Hope we all get in! Friday cannot get here any faster.
  8. Thanks Lauryn for the encouragement! Hopefully we find out soon. The wait is killing me lol
  9. I heard applicants this semester was lower than last semester. I believe we all have a good shot at getting in. What was your teas score?
  10. How do you all think you did on the essay? There was only one question which wasn't too hard. I think we all have a great chance at getting in! He said we will find out after October 15th if we are in or not. Good luck everyone!
  11. Hi I am applying for spring 2016! My GPA is 3.5(all pre reqs completed) my teas overall is a 74%and my science portion was a 79%. Im very nervous, do you think I have a chance at getting in?
  12. That's what Jorie told me. But Mary says that only 10% were over 80. I'm starting to believe Mary because she is the head chairman of all of this. Also, I know someone who scored in the 50s and she qualified and they emailed her saying that they wanted her to write an essay since they're considering her. I honestly believe you will get in the program you have nothing to worry about! :)
  13. Yes, I heard this information from Jorie. I met with her and she told me that. However, Mary says a different story. She also says that the TEAS applicant's scores weren't that high. I've also heard from some other nursing applicants that they have a 65 and a 59 on their TEAS and they are qualified and are going to write their essay so they can join the program. I guess Mary says that only 10% had above 80, and Jorie says 55% above 80. I'm confused as to who to believe, but I do have friends that scored in the low 60s that are qualified.
  14. Hi everybody, I met with Jorie on Thursday to talk about my admittance to the nursing program in Spring 2016, but she ended up giving me some information about the applicants of this semester. She said they accepted 96 people, and of the 96, 56 of them scored above 80 on their TEAS. The rest were under 80 and were accepted still. The average TEAS test score this semester she said was 76. Hope this helps ease your minds!
  15. Thank you for the helpful response! I figured it couldn't hurt to at least try it out early just to see my strengths and weaknesses. :)
