As far as i can remember the cbt is valid for 2 years, you can check that in the qualifications page of your online portal once you've passed the cbt. Now I need you to get back to that person and tell him to shut up and do his research first before speaking. Oh and there's proof incase that idiot still disagrees. Thank you.

Dear UK Gal, Not to burst your bubble but yes that is what the NMC said. I might not have been required additional documents from them but based on my fellow applicants' experience, when they were asked for (mostly) new police clearances as well as their DoGH, they were put back at yhe bottom of the queue. As for the one receiving his DL within the week after he was asked for more info, i believe it was someone i know because there is this case within my fellow applicants where the nmc emailed him they needed more info but he just explained his side to them via phone and he got his dl within the week.

Guys like I said, it's always best to email them regarding any concerns or queries because when they reply even though it takes a week or so for them to, it's in written format which means it's more reliable of a response coming from them. if you want a faster response, better call them and speak to an agent. Agent's don't have much access to your application if it's still in the assessment queue so you can ask them to consult with the international team regarding expired NBI clearances etc. because the internaional team handles our papers. In my experience, consulting with agents alone gives me a headache because of their inconsistent answers that's why I resort to email because I could use their responses as reference. Most agents speak as if they are not interested in helping you out but there are some that are really helpful, you just have to be really assertive. Going back to the NBI Clearance, in my fellow applicants case, he was asked to mail them a new clearance because the one he uploaded was already expired. They won't accept you emailing it to them. They will only accept the new one by post and then scan it again and put you back at the bottom of the queue for reassessment. Sad to say, there is no fast track way if they need additional documents from you if you are for reassessment that's why I advise that before clicking submit and sending all your forms to them, you have to make sure everything is perfect. My Trust will be responsible for booking my OSCE because they need it to apply for my certificate of sponsorship which by the way is having a lot of issues as of the moment if everyone has seen the the news lately on the UK's June CoS allocation.

Your police clearance is valid IF by the time all your documents have been received completely and you have been put in the assessment queue, your police clearance is still 3 months old. In order to know the date they have fully received all your documents, it's best to email them. In my case, I got my clearance February 11, got an email from the NMC stating they have received all my documents April 28 (so still valid and within the time-frame) and they don't need any futher documentation because I'm in the assessment queue, and got my decision letter June 25th. If you feel that your police clearance is beyond the 3 month period, I suggest getting a new one and sending it to them immediately after notifying them.

The NBI clearance is only valid for 3 MONTHS since issue and being received by the NMC. This goes for all police clearances. That's the only allowed time by the NMC for a police clearance to be valid even if it says otherwise on the form. They will ask you for a replacement if your clearance is beyond 3 months old.

Yes. They ad an IT problem that time that's why they finished scanning it April 28th despite it being sent early March.

Hey guys I just got off the phone with the NMC and according to whoever I spoke to there my application is now under the assessment queue. Thank God it's past the scanning queue. Now they said to wait another 30-90 days. Well I guess I just have to wait again some more (as if waiting to get to the assessment queue wasn't agonizing enough). For reference purposes, all of my documents reached the NMC last March 6, so it takes approximately a month for them to finish scanning *apparently.

We cant really trust anything the NMC says through phone because they have been very inconsistent with their anwers there. Best is through by email or in writing because they can't really afford to be inconsistent there when responding to us. One wrong response could cause them a lawsuit. I suggest you guys emailing them. It may take a while for them to respond but it is probably their most accurate response compared to their call center's response via phone.

Hi @foxtrotunicorns Are you done with the Full Application and Assessment Stage? I think they will only give u info about the test once the NMC is done with your application and have given you authorisation to take the OSCE.

Are u still in the full application and assessment stage? Have you submitted your online application and mailed all the nmc forms needed by the nmc? If so when? I just finished completeing everything, that includes the online application and they have also received all of my documents last monday. Wondering what stage you are in now and how long have u been waiting. Thanks!
