  1. Jaycam Is there a specific calculation/dosage conversion book you use? Also I've heard that nursing schools test you before every quarter and you can't continue unless you pass. Is that true?
  2. Let me tell you... I was just like you. Got all C's in high school took as many easy classes I could to graduate. But your performance in high school shouldn't deter you. Once I knew I wanted to go to nursing school I realized how much more I like college level classes and their structure. I ended up with a 3.8 gpa while taking the teachers who had reputations for being the most difficult. I let my dreams drive me and the rest fell into place.
  3. If someone with an 86 got into fall already our chances look good. Hoping for the best anyway.
  4. I know right? I did the same. Crossing my fingers to get bumped up to fall!
  5. Does anyone that got in also have other schools they applied to? Is Bellevue everyone's first choice?
  6. She emailed me back right away. They're working on the issue and she said to try again after 1pm today.
  7. I got the error message too. Emailing Melissa Meinhofer right now.
  8. For those of you that are curious I got an 86 on my TEAS. The grammar part at the end really screwed me even though I got 100% on both the math and reading portions. So happy and excited for everyone that got in!
  9. Got my letter. Winter quarter! I'm so happy. I just did a victory dance and cried.
  10. Jaycam, How competitive are students for grades? Do teachers ever give statistics or post students grades for exams in public? Are the teachers at least good at giving progesterone reports or current grades?
  11. Perfect. Red is definitely my color. I'm starting to think not as many people applied to Bellevue this year. What a dead forum.
  12. I'm kind of curious. What do they expect you to bring to clinicals. Also what color scrubs are we going to need? I hope we don't have some tacky color like teal. Lol
  13. Jaycam thank you for all the info! One more month guys. It can't come soon enough.
  14. So what you're saying is class and clinicals are always on weekdays? So working Saturday and Sunday every week is possible?
  15. I am planning on getting my BSN directly after my ADN program. The same college that offers the ADN program also offers the RN-BSN bridge. My long term goal is to go to graduate school and become an NP. My question is, does the school you received your BSN matter? The school I plan on receiving it from is just recently gaining accreditation from the CCNE and its program doesn't have the same repuation as the local university. Will it be a factor when applying to schools out of state such as Emory, Vanderbilt, etc. I would love to hear any and all opinions/tips. Thank you!
