  1. I dunno, there was just something about that NCBSN review course that I didn't find to be the most helpful. Its too much reading if you ask me. Lot of bullet points about stuff and whatnot. I went through the majority of it and did prob 20-25 prac questions each day. I did pass the second time I took it, but I dunno if I attribute it to the NCBSN course. I attribute my first fail to major test anxiety lol. Although, I still walked out of the second attempt at 120 questions and thought I failed again. I guess feeling like you failed is a good thing because it means that you got to the hard questions. NCLEX is all about getting to the questions that NOBODY knows.
  2. I also took nclex first time and got 265 questions and did not pass. I then also signed up for ncbsn 5 week course and did prob 80% of it. It is so much reading and I found myself mind wandering. I did prob 400 of he practice questions at the end. I also bought the nclex mastery app for $40 on my phone and did 25 questions a day on that. Took nclex again and passed in 120 questions. I wasn't a big fan of ncbsn
  3. Yes it will ask you to pay, you need to put in credit card but change ur exp date. It will still work. If u get good pop up then u passed. If it says it can't process payment or payment declines, not so good.
  4. It does work. My test shut off last week at 120 questions and asked me to do those case studies. I went home and did the PVT trick trying to pay for another test and it would never let me. My license was posted in less than 48 hours online.
  5. You should feel lucky, our school made it a requirement to get 900 on hesi exit or you WILL NOT graduate. Cant go take boards. Congrats though. Just shows that HESI is not the "all and mighty powerful indicator of a good nurse," its actually the farthest thing from it.
  6. I just got done with Hesi. Really study AP. I had a lot of questions on the brain, unfortutely I disnt know a lot of them and got a 68 on the AP section. Thankfully I did well on the others and got a 86 final cumulative. Good luck and really study the parts of the brain. Maybe your test will be different but that's how my AP section was.
  7. Hello all, i just took the hesi last night for the BSN program at Brenau University in Georgia. Reading Comprehension - 90 Vocab - 88 Chemistry - 84 Math - 100 A&P - 68 lol Cumulative of 86 which is ok, was hoping for a 90 but such is life. I spent 2 weeks studying and i will say that AP took me by surprise. I thought it would be pretty general, but there were a lot of specific questions esp about the brain that i did not know. As far as math, it is imperative that you know conversions like ounce to gallon and such. I mainly used the elsevier book and also the mcgraw hill nursing school entrance exam with 8 practice tests. DO NOT use the Hesi A2 study guide 2015 trivium test prep. I found multiple problems wrong and they had false info. It said adenine and guanine were the pyrimidines, which i knew was incorrect. Took this book right back to barnes and noble for a refund. All in all it is an easy test. Know your metric conversions and study up big time on AP. They gave us 4 hrs to test and i was done in 2. Good luck.
