  1. Do you every try to do something like yoga or relaxation techniques after your shift? Also the gym can be helpful. Sometimes it's not the unit more than it is the people you are working with. Stay strong it sounds like you're doing a great job.
  2. Wait where is your answer to my question I don't see it on the other thread could just restate it I'm sorry don't mean to be a pain.
  3. sorry just got a little excited thanks for the response
  4. So I ended up getting my quick results this morning and passed!!!! How long does it take for my license to appear on the NY state board of professions website? I still do not see it. The quick results are 100% accurate right?

  6. What do you mean a big discrepancy
  7. Then what I also read on the board of nursing is that if the score changed significantly that is something they would investigate and could put a hold on. That's also eight years ago, the test gets changed every year so the statistics and time lapses may be different now. Because really all the other reasons you could be put on hold don't apply to me, I spoke to the people at Pearson Vue and there was no incident report so idk what else it could be. Hopefully this hold gets lifted tmmrw they were closed this weekend. I am anxiously waiting, I finished school with a 3.7 BSN and I failed the first time at 132 questions which was a major let down. I am hoping that this time I passed at 75 I felt much more confident this time around when I left the center. But who knows, Ill just hope for the best, thanks for the input to those who have responded to my blog it's helped as I wait.
  8. So from reading that it says you can access food or water on your breaks you just can't bring them into the testing room, so that would mean that it is okay to open your locker to get it?
  9. During you break are you allowed to open your locker to get a snack or water?
  10. during your break time
  11. Are you allowed to open your locker during the break to get a snack or water that your brought?
  12. I read on their website that they screen and hold results if you did significantly better on the next exam
  13. this is my second time taking the exam, so i don't think transcripts are the issue because they weren't the first time around
  14. Is there any possibility that I improved considerably and passed and that's why they are doing this considering I failed at 132 last time?
  15. i felt so much more confident after this exam with 75 questions, compared to the last one with 132, if I failed then I did worse which wouldn't make sense
  16. yeah i tried calling they are closed i'll just have to wait
  17. aren't they closed on saturday?
  18. If I hypothetically failed why would they be doing this, on my first exam I finished on 132 questions and left feeling not confident, this time I took 75 questions there was no issue with the finger scanning. This doesn't make any sense.
  19. What does QC mean in front of the hold?
  20. I am still on hold and it has been 48 hours. The only thing I can think of is I finished the exam too quickly, it took me a hour and half to do 75 questions. Still no quick results either, the waiting is tough.
  21. Yeah New York participates in quick results, whenever i do the pearson vue trick it says my results are on hold. And the people at Pearson vue say quick results takes business days.
  22. I took my NCLEX on Thursday at 8am, I know Pearson Vue says it takes 48 business hours to have the quick results, but I have heard that people here have gotten their results on the weekend. Is there any truth to that? It's Saturday now at 8:20am and still don't see anything Pearson Vue on the pop up says my results are on hold.
  23. Do people get results on a Saturday? I have heard that even though Pearson Vue says 48 business hours, there are people that have gotten the quick results on a saturday or sunday
  24. Last time I failed at 130 questions, and I didn't feel confident after the exam. I felt confident after finishing with 75, but I'm not sure the waiting is so difficult
  25. Why would it matter to them if you finished quicker than the average?
