I applied on Wednesday and still have not received an email regarding the career battery test. Does that mean I'm already out the door? I applied for ER and OR. I know that ER closes today and OR closes next Friday. Any thoughts?

I just finished the UTSW application for ER and OR. I also applied to all the Methodist positions last Friday. No word yet. Still frustrating!

While I am looking for a job I took both certifications. Yes I had to pay for them myself, but I figure they look good on my resume.

I will definitely be following this post as I am wondering the same thing. I graduated last May, passed boards in July, and then had to help my family with some of their own health issues. And now I am having a really hard time trying to find a residency or internship. I'm not sure if it's my age or bc this is my 2nd career. I would love to work at UTSW.

I graduated last May with a BSN from UTA at Arlington and passed Nclex in July. I then took a few months off to deal with some family issues. Now I am finding it incredibly difficult finding a residency or internship. I get quite a few interviews, but never chosen. I don't know if it's my age and it's my second career or my GPA of 3.3 or what! I am to the point of desperation and no one seems to understand me. I never had a problem finding a finance job and it was usually me turning them down. Beginning to think I made the wrong decision.......
