Hello dulcet, I have been a certified case manager for an insurance company for almost nine years now with the past five working from home. I would NOT I repeat would NOT be in this position without prior clinical or bedside experience. Unfortunately to get a case mgr position say even in the hosp setting you will REQUIRE assessment skills, communication skills, time management skills and the list goes on. You can ultimately land the position you want but you will have to get a minimum of three years clinical. I wish you the very best of luck. You CAN do it I promise!!!!

Hello, I will be taking my Capstone course next month to complete my BSN program and have HUGE anxiety as to what to expect. It is my understanding that there is a project due but I am unsure of a topic. I am a telephonic nurse case manager that works for an insurance company from home. Any topic suggestions out there?
