Passed my Nclex!! Thank you god!!
I know you are feeling down right now but don't let this stop you. Let it motivate you to continue to study and work harder for what you truly want. You can do this! 1-what did you study and how? 2-how many questions did you take and how much time did it take you to complete the amount of questions that you got? lets look at this and see what you can do differently. remember you aren't the only one and will pass this text next time because you worked of it and this is what you want! You CAN and WILL be an R.N

That's how I felt too. I guess it's normal. I would look at the answers and remember saying in my head "I studied this I just don't see the answer that belongs to it. Super weird, and no problem keep us posted. Wishing you the best!

Passed my Nclex!! Thank you god!!
Thank you so much!! sure i don't mind at all. i studied from Kaplan all the time. i did all the QBank questions and all the question trainers. the 1st 2 weeks i did the content videos which took about 3 days. i didnt do the Pharm ones. then the Qbank questions its about 1300+. divided into 10 days is 130 questions a day.. that was the 1st 2 weeks. i took notes on evey questions and all 4 answers it would give me, why it was right and why the other 3 were wrong. i would google the words i didn't know. then i moved to the question trainers and did the 7 question trainers in 2 weeks. 1-2-3 you can each do them and review them in one day (so 3 days). question trainers 4-5 you can do them in in another 3 days. then 6-7 which are the longest i did the last week. question trainer 6 took me 3 days to finish and review and 7 took me 4 days to do and review. I did every single question wrong or right i reviewed them all. the day before my test i read all my notes, got the nclex cram sheet and put what each classification medicine was for and the side effects and went over the lab values.... that's all i did. woke you prayed and eat breakfast. looked at the cram sheet in my car and the lab values once more. good luck if you have any other questions just let me know.

CSULB_RN_GRAD, BSN Thank you!!! ok what I did was I made myself a schedule because I as well was all over the place. I didn't know where to start or what to study. I started studying Jan 5 and my test was Feb 2. My school was a joke as well so don't feel bad. At least you did the hurst I didn't even do that....This is what I did and only this: the 1st 2 days I watched Kaplan Content videos. I didn't finish them because they would freeze a lot (if you have already watched the Hurst videos which I hear they are amazing I wouldn't do the Kaplan ones). Then I did all the Qbank questions which is about 1300+, i said i wanted to do them with in 10 days because i was racing against time, divided it by 10 and stuck to it (about 130 a day). I took a lot of notes, on each answer and the other 3 options that were wrong i figure out what they belong to and would google it. Then 2 weeks before my test i started doing the question trainers. give your self time for these. question trainer 6 and 7 are horrible to say the least, because they are soooo long but they are the most helpful. I took basically a week to do 6&7 and review them of how long they were. Question trainer 6 took me 3 days to do and review and question trainer 7 took me 4 days. i know it sounds like a long time but like i said i would google everything i didn't know on the rationales. I day before the test i did 50 SATA from saunders, its the only time i used saunders because i couldn't figure out how in the world to create a test on Kaplan just of SATA and reviewed alllllllll my notes as well as printed out the nclex cram sheet. you can find it on google its only 2 pages. on the cram sheet there are classifications of medications i googled what each classification treated and the side effects. (while your doing the Qbank and QTrainers write down the medications google them and the side effects) i never sat there and read the whole chapter of pharm it frustrated me! i hate pharm! so that's basically what i did. i tested at 8 in the morning and got there at 6:30 sat in my car pulled out my Cram sheet and my lab values went over them 2 times each, prayed and walked in, the people are super nice! i always heard they are mean and its not true at all. i got 93 questions because i looked up and i was on 91 the hit next 2 maybe 3 times and it shut off. you have time and you can do it! study every day so that all the information stays in your head and constantly see it through out the QB and QT!! GOOD LUCK!!

Passed my Nclex!! Thank you god!!
Khaleesi123: I know I was so freaked out. the Qbank questions are easier, I heard it was because its more content. which is fine because its good to refresh all the content, and there is always new stuff you haven't heard about before. I did the Qbank questions in sets of 20-40-50 depending how I was feeling, I would do 150 Monday through Friday and on the weekends 50-60 and review my notes. then I moved to the question trainers. you can do it!! keep at it!

Passed my Nclex!! Thank you god!!
Hi everyone, I joined this website about a week ago and started asking questions as I was freaked out about my scores on Kaplan. I said I would post everything after I took it, pass or fail. THANK GOD I passed. I took it yesterday and got the good pop-up, I checked this morning at 8am and results were in pass! I wanted to write this so that everyone who was in my situation would see my scores and not get discouraged. I did ALL the QBank questions from Kaplan and all 7 Question trainers. I also heard the content review videos besides the Pharm ones because they would freeze a lot. I studied about 26 days every day with out stopping even weekends. I even missed the super bowl which I've never missed one (yes, im a girl that likes football even though my team lost). I think the key is to constantly study that way the material you learned the day before you don't forget. these are my Question Trainer scores from 1-7 in this order 65-64-69-55.3-60.7-53.5-50.6 question trainer 7 was horrible I couldn't sit there for that long so I broke it up into 2 full days, and 2 days to review them. as you can see my score were not all that great especially the ones they say matter the most 5-7. I read EVER rational even if I got it correct took a lot of notes, 2 note books to be precise lol. I read the 4 answers why they were wrong and took the notes on all 4 answers and what they belonged to. My school wasn't the best! so if I could do it you guys can too! GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE PEOPLE TAKING NCLEX!!! remember study everyday is my biggest advice so the material stays there and is repeated through all the QBank questions and Question Trainers!! PRAY to what ever you believe in and go in and tell your self you can and will do it! I had a poster with motivational things I wrote and even on my Mirror I wrote "I will be an RN" in vision it because you can do it!! If you have questions I will be more than happy to answer them!! :)

Kaplan scores
Really I mean the 1st ones people said we're very easy and content based only. 5-7 is what they keep telling me counts and to aim for a 60 as you can see only in 5 I barely got the 60.7% my test is on Monday. I am freaking out as everyone says 40% or more we're select all that apply and a lot of medications. sorry about all the questions as you can see I am very stressed.

Kaplan scores
CONGRATS by the way! Awesome feeling I can imagine after all the hard work. I was able to finish it completely just the score was low. I'm going all the rationals, how I've done with all the other ones. My other scores or in order from 1-6: 65,64,69,55.3,60.7,53.5. Medications are what dropped the score. Any advice on medications? I was was planning to go over the most common groups that have same endings to be able to get rid of at least a few answers since I'm so short on time.

Taking NCLEX Jan 7th
What materials did you use to study? I'm using Kaplan my test is on Monday. I'm super nervous as my questions trainers range from 50-69% on question trainer 7 I scored 50.6% I had to stop a few times and ended up falling asleep and waking up to finish it at 2:30

Kaplan scores
So I finally took question trainer 7 and just finished now at 2:24am. I must say it was horrible. I was trying to break it up in blocks of 50 but the time would have cut me short. At the end i didn't have enough time. i did 175 questions and stopped for about 6 hours till a little while ago that i started. My score was not to far from yours. 50.6%. SO MANY SATA! I do this thing with all my test that i chart the 1st 75 to see if i stayed mostly over the passing line. out of the 1st 75 i got 42 right. This question Trainer did not put me at ease at all.

Last QT 7 from Kaplan 50.6% :[
Hey guys, I just finished question trainer 7 now (2:24am) I had to stop during the mild of the day and continue it at around 11:45. My score was 50.6% horrible! i'm so nervous my test in 3 days! Anyone have any pointers or reassurance with their own scores. Here are my QT scores from 1-7: 65%,64%,69%,55.3%,60.7%,53.5% and 50.6%! How is it looking? i'm trying to be positive it and this question trainer 7 isn't helping at all. I've been studying none stop my head hurts almost all day. i'm sure its the pressure of this exam. I'm hoping to pass so bad. if anyone has any suggestions I am more than thankful and willing to listen to all. I cant reschedule my exam, due to my length of time to schedule being over on the 3rd.so worried! THANKS!!!

NCLEX - SATA Questions
Medication wise a good majority of the questions were med related? It's another weak spot

NCLEX - SATA Questions
That's the hard part remembering if it's true or false in reference to that questions í ½í¸©í ½í¸± lol what are you studying? I'm doing Kaplan.
-
NCLEX - SATA Questions
I also struggle with the same type of question. I'm taking my test in 4 days and im freaking out. they told me to answer the questions as if it were true or false and if there are 2 answers that are the same just worded differently they should both be clicked. I'm hoping this works. I will post after my test..

Kaplan scores
Awesome congrats. Would you say that the Kaplan questions were similar to the actual Nclex? I also did them in blocks of 20-50's. QT6 I had to google a lot of words I have never seen before, can you relate?

Kaplan scores
That's what happened to me I just wanted to finish already and now while I read them i'm like damn that was obvious. Start doing the QBank questions they helped me with a lot of content. I also take a lot of notes. on all 4 answers that are given to me. Tomorrow i'm doing QT 7 and I plan to do it 75q take a break then in blocks of 50 to see if that helps me more. if it does that is how I plan to do on test day. i'll keep you posted on that score tomorrow.
