  1. Here is a link to a FB group for Spring 2020 Mobility students. There's a security question that you will have to refer to the acceptance letter to answer. We want to make sure we keep bots and trolls out! https://www.facebook.com/groups/243045539967...
  2. What's meant to be will be. I didn't get in last year because a transcript didn't get sent due to a really crazy issue. But my grandmother went on hospice in January and I took care of her until she passed. I fully believe God knew when the right tim...
  3. I have a friend who was on the alternate list last year and got in. Many people applied to multiple programs. Hang in there! You may well be with us in the Spring!
  4. I’m in!
  5. Okay, the letters are out! Who is in?
  6. It looks like we may have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to find out. The waiting is the worst part, for sure.
  7. Anyone else get this email?
  8. Also DJ deserves a freaking Christmas gift from every single one of us even if we don’t get in. That woman has the patience of a saint and is always so nice despite us calling with a million questions! ?
  9. Getting answers and getting it done. Yes, girl. That’s RN material!
  10. @rjellew No. They are separate. If you check the registration for Spring 2019, there were 119 total seats in 112, i.e. 119 accepted to the full program. There were 36 total seats in 209, i.e. the mobility program. They can change those numbers as ...
  11. @kjocres If you have As in all of your classes, you have 45 points. The GPA isn't an additional set of points, it's just a minimum requirement. You add up: ACT + Points for four core classes ( A=3, B=2) and the ten points for the dosage exam.
  12. I believe I have 45. I took those prerecs when I was about 20 and didn't care, so my grades were very "meh". Thankfully, I had a strong ACT to carry me. Aced the test, so that's ten points. Most people I've spoke with have between 34-39 points. I di...
  13. I’m applying for Mobility (almost 15 years after graduating as an LPN) so our points are slightly different. We had to take a dosage calculation exam and make at least a 90. But it was really easy, so I assume everyone got that ten points. For us it ...

  16. Wallace LPN-RN Mobility Spring 2016

Anyone applying for Wallace's mobility program for Spring 2016? I just realized most of my points aren't valid because I have been out of school for too long. Drats. Luckily I have a high ACT score, so I'm hoping my score will be high enough to go ah...
  17. Wallace LPN-RN Mobility Spring 2016

Letters went out today! Good luck, everyone! Hope to see you in class!
  18. Wallace state Spring 2016

Oh, if this is your first run through nursing school, then I would definitely recommend traditional classroom. I think hybrid is easier when you've been a nurse for a while and you are moving to a higher level of nursing, but for a brand-new student,...
  19. Wallace state Spring 2016

I am stressing out. I HAVE to get my plan together soon. Working two jobs, three kids (one with special needs), husband with demanding job schedule...I HAVE TO PLAN AHEAD!!! *twitches* I know I'm not alone in this. I am not totally sure about my poin...
  20. First Day Jitters - Peds

I am an LPN with almost ten years in nursing. I have worked mostly nursing home, but also pediatrics in a low income clinic and some time in a peds ENT office. I made the jump to hospice just this month, after feeling the call to this area. I even am...
  21. Calhoun Community College Spring 2016

Did you read the fine print when you signed up? The TEAS at Drake is only for Drake students. They won't send it to Calhoun. And they won't give you a refund. So stupid.
