  1. Sorry for the late response but I got 90s on all but my science. I think I got in the 80s on that.
  2. Spring step (I think that's what they're called) lol. So comfy and form to the shape of your foot. I hate taking them off lol.
  3. Lol oh yeah don't let them try and make you take the entrance exam and stuff because they WILL. Stand your ground, I had to because if it was up to them I wouldn't been enrolled in the LPN program now instead of the rn.
  4. Its not that expensive (for me anyway) with financial aid I really don't have to pay as much. As far as the classes go I do believe you can transfer all your non nursing classes, I was able to even the pre-reqs. Have you gone and talked to anyone from the school Lexi695
  5. Thanks guys. I will def check out the link. Psychnurse, since I've been in a&p, I've been using the resources from the book as well. They really do help give you extra practice. Thanks for the response.
  6. Hi everyone, I'm new to the nursing school game, recently got in and am doing core classes. I have a question for anyone who may know or have any idea.. Are there websites out there that help you better break down nursing subjects? For example, I'm using the website SparkNotes to help me with A&P 1. It really breaks down some things that the teacher doesn't quite do. I'm just thinking ahead for when I get into harder classes like Pharmacology, Med/Surg, etc. Any opinions, ideas would be great! Thanks in advance!
  7. Yeah I know what you mean. You take A&P once you get in, the only pre-reqs they require is Computer Apps (boring! But easy haha), Chemistry, and Algebra. I advise the hybrid Algebra class if you can (that's what I'm doing) because it's pretty easy. Only have actual class on Fridays. PM me if you would like!
  8. What type of things do you enjoy? Do you have knitting classes in your area? (Just as an example) my older family friend relieves stress by knitting. Maybe there's a writing class. I guess you should see what activities you have locally that you can join. Hope you find something! I hate being bored too lol.
  9. Hi.. I haven't "officially" started yet, I start the RN program on Monday, but I did take my pre-reqs there. I liked it, the advisors are pretty helpful. Just don't let them try and sucker you into taking the LPN program first. They tried it with me and I told them it was RN or nothing. So I did well in my pre-reqs and TEAS and got in. The teachers can be touch or go sometimes. When did you take the A&P course? From my understanding, they don't take any credits over 3 yrs old. Unless you obtained them in high school like I did for English. Sorry I wasn't much help lol. Good luck!
