  1. I spent my first year of nursing on night shift. I loved the shift itself, but my days off were consumed with--well, sleeping! I have finally moved to dayshift, to which I contribute better overall health and energy, BUT... What do I do on my days off?! I'm a 20-something, single girl. Most of my friends are either married or working regular 9-5 jobs. I honestly don't know what to do with myself when I have a full day off during the week with nothing on the calendar! I have recently joined the YMCA. I'm still having to force myself to go (I don't necessarily like exercise haha). Otherwise, I don't know what to do. I can fill my day with maybe an hour of cleaning, an hour of working out, and an hour of running errands; that's on a good day! Does anyone have any tips and tricks on how to stay productive with all of this time on your hands? I suffer from depression, and I've found myself throwing pity-parties in front of the TV on most days off. Clearly, this isn't the quality of life I'm looking for! Thanks, everybody!
