BMCC Nursing Program FALL 2017
Thank you so much for getting back to me. Writing what? patient cases? or just general stuff? I was so nervous looking at the Kaplan book. The math threw me off. I do know my basics. Percentages, Decimals and fractions. I still have the HESI that was originally to be used.

BMCC Nursing Program FALL 2017
Hi I am going to take the test for this semester coming up at BMCC, But need advice. I was told by the advisor that it is only A &PII, microbiology, Reading comprehension and writing. Why are students saying in this site that they took the Math too? What exactly is on this Kaplan test? I need to go over my studies. I bought the Kaplan nursing entrance book 7th edition wondering if I have the correct book. The math on there is a Lil difficult. Please help.

Nursing school on hold
Thank you for you response it has helped me. But in order to get into the nursing program at BMCC I do need a A in the math dosage class I was told. I was thinking on taking that course at a online school.. not a costly one though. Searching for my options. I am also a Medical Assistant seeking work in NYC. It's difficult.. Have been turned down due to me not speaking a second language (Spanish). I have strong Phlebotomy skills and its still hard. But I thank you for you advice.:)

Nursing school on hold
Hi I am a new member with this blog. I went to college for my Nursing, but finished all my prerequisite course in 2008. Took off a few years due to personal issues. I want to go back but I am discouraged because I earned a B+ in Math Calculations class. This class was taken on line at BMCC. I messed up due to assignments that were late on my part.. had computer issues. Any way I am also afraid I can't remember certain subjects I was taught. I am thinking on going back for my LPN instead in hope for a retake of the Math dosage class to earn a grade A. I don't know what to do anymore. I do insurance exams on doctors and nurse's including blood draws and EKGs. I become sad when I see the nurses wishing I can continue my education. I am not getting any younger. I can no longer take out any student loans as well.. any advice I really need some.
