  1. Thank you everyone for your input. My quest continues.
  2. Hi Grumpy RN, I can get referee 2 and 3, it's referee 1 that I am looking for. Someone currently on the register....
  3. Hi Skylark, thanks again for your information. I am following the directions on the NMC website for re-joining the register. The current step requires another NMC registrant....I've copy and pasted the details below. NMC registrant referee: Provide the details of another NMC registrant who's registered in the same part of the register in which you are applying. They must have known you for a year out of the last three, been in contact with you during the last 6 months and must hold an active NMC Online account. NMC Pin Surname I have known the above named person for at least one year and have been in contact with them during the last 6 months. ..............................I am incorrect in using the term 're-validation'. I am applying to re-register as I am lapsed. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. David
  4. Hello skylark, thanks so much for replying, I’m following the steps on the NMC website to revalidate - it’s asking me for the name and pin of a currently practicing nurse, could I give you my email address so we could maybe set something up? Thanks
  5. Hello, I am a nurse from the UK who is currently working in the US. My NMC registration has lapsed and I was wondering if anyone (NMC registered) would be willing to help me to re-validate? Many thanks David
  6. Makes me want to move to CA. I also work in NYC, I had 12 patients at one point last shift - including 5 admitted, 2 critical and a step-down. Not safe, documentation becomes nearly impossible, pt care suffers - I just try to make sure they're all still breathing at the end of the shift.
