  1. Hello all, and thanks in advance for the advice you share every day. How do you politely NOT answer a Nosy Parker kiddo who persists in asking why another student is in the nurse's office?
  2. Are these midwives nurse midwives or lay midwives?
  3. Forget the happy nurses pic. What is that black object underneath?
  4. Hello! I like the content of your letter. There are some typos, which I'm sure you would catch upon re-reading. For example, in the first line, you write "I'm I am..." Second paragraph, "...pursuing a career in the acute care." Perhaps you mean "pursuing a career in acute care." Second and third paragraphs, you use the word "strong" twice. Perhaps another adjective for strong? I see some other typos, too. I am also looking for a job, and have to re-read and re-check my cover letters for mistakes. Good luck with the job hunt!
  5. I always say that vomit makes me vomit.
  6. Hello. I am still in Wyoming. I am not working currently because I stayed home to raise my children. I am working on an RN refresher class through a program at Casper College. I've been reading the posts on this site to see what's happening in the nursing world. I enjoyed my college years at UW and enjoyed the program. I graduated in 1985 and know that things are completely different now. Different faculty, new building, the curriculum changed. I see you're from Cheyenne-we did some clinical there. Hope this helps! Maybe we can find some other Wyo. nurses.
  7. I graduated from UW a looooong time ago. I still live in Wyo and practiced here, though I'm not working right now.
