  1. Can you email me the providers name?
  2. Im just finishing my appeal process with the board of california. First things first, dont submit your application without speaking to a lawyer first. Go to your local "legal aid" office or a free expungement clinic, there they can connect you with a lawyer that can help you pro-bono. The lawyer can help you write the letter of explanation and submitting the certified court documents. Dont rush, take your time, if you rush and turn in a sloppy packet they will staright up deny you. An appeal to that denial takes a long time, and you are risking receiving a license with restrictions. Good luck, be patient, and speak to a licensing lawyer
  3. Maybe university of texas arlington, grand canyon, westcoast online programs
  4. Go to your local legal aid clinic or go to any organization that offers free expungement services. Usually these organizations have pro bono lawyers that will help you appeal the process. Learn from your mistakes, I did. In the end you will get your license.

Hi everyone! I recently received denial for licensure because of a DUI four years ago, now expunged. I'm going to appeal, does anyone have a sample letter? Any Lawyer recommendations? How much for lawyer's retainer fee?
  6. Hey Pandajunior....I am assuming you have completed most of your nursing program because you are applying for your License. Did you have any trouble being placed in Hospitals for your clinical rotations because of your misdemeanor?
  7. Hi ooops, as a nursing student did you have any trouble with placement during your clinical rotations? I was accepted into a nursing program in San Diego, but I am worried about clinicals because of a DUI that I got 2 years ago. I know ive to submit a background check and my DUI will show, but I don't know if that is means for disqualification. What was your experience? Any ideas of what I can do?
  8. Hello! Did the students with DUIs in your program, did they have a diffcult time getting placed in their clinical rotations? did the DON work with them?
  9. HELPPP! I was just acepted into a nursing program in San Diego. I am extremely worried about clinicals. From all of you with DUIs in your records, did you have a difficult time getting placed for clinicals? I got my DUI 2 years ago. I don't have any other criminal convictions and have not gotten into any trouble after that. Do any of you know what Hospitals are more likely to accept students with a DUI for clinical rotations? Have any of you been in this situation? I really don't want my career to stop before it even starts....
