I think I would still check with your state board of nursing because in the end if you were to cut the patients nails without their permission or without a physicians order you would not want to be potentially charged with assault. This might sound extreme but with today's lawyers who knows.

I studied tropical diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine - both are in England. Both had class and lab components. My wife is a Certified Nurse Midwife and she studied in Liverpool with me. I do recommend both institutions. Our overseas work experience has taken us to the Indian Subcontinent and Belize, Central America. In every case we have gone as volunteers at our expense.
