  1. My experience has been positive with corrections. Write ups are not common working for CDCR. There are no rules made up as they go along lol. Policies are from Sacramento and the SRN's provide you with education or a memo from sac if policy has changed. The environment can be negative due to observing violence within inmate population.
  2. It may just be poor management it's difficult to lose your license you can review the boards decisions in your state consumer affairs won't investigate reports of manipulation by coworkers/pt/pt family members. Consumer affairs is pretty fair and very aware of false accusations it's constant.

  4. Are there any assisted living directors who care to share stress level? I'm an LVN I've worked mostly in corrections for 10 years and snf 3years. I've noticed there are quite a few assisted living director position avail (I'm in cali) I was considering applying? Is the stress level and work load comparable to SNF? Thanks for any input!

    Are you referring to the state facility it is a correctional facility nursing does not offer a preceptorship you are oriented to a position you may be offered a preceptorship at Stockton facility.
  6. Yeah very weird do a psych referral and inform housing sgt.
