  1. Congratulations, Valentina! Thank you so much for the helpful information! [emoji4]
  2. Hi! Thank you so much for all the helpful info! Congratulations on passing! I requested to join the class! Thanks so much! [emoji173]️
  3. Good luck to all of you who applied to the ADN program! I'm so excited to be starting the LVN program at Taylor on Monday!
  4. Congratulations, AmyDrake! It's so exciting! I might apply to the ADN program, too, but it is a relief to be accepted to the LVN program. I like the idea of doing the LVN program first and then bridging to the ADN program later, too. I hope everybody else gets their letters soon, too!
  5. Congratulations, mygr8life! I'm so happy for you! You're going to the Temple class though, right? I wish we were all in the same class, but we will have to keep in contact on here. Now you can celebrate this weekend!!! Way to go!!!
  6. Mygr8life, Hang in there - my friend in NW Austin hasn't received anything either yet, so I'm betting yours and hers and brandiew7678's will come tomorrow!!!
  7. mygr8life, That's awesome that you have finished almost all of the non-nursing classes! You definitely should also apply to the ADN because you get lots of credit for taking all those classes when they rank your application. They told us at the info session that approx. 23% of the points are based on the number of general education credits that you have that apply to the ADN curriculum, so you would get almost all of those points. You also have a great HESI score, so you would probably end up with a great application score! It's almost 3:00 - I can't wait to hear that you got accepted to the LVN program!!!
  8. Hi summerblessing! I just read all your posts from last year when you were applying for the bridge program and really learned so much from you about the whole process! I'm so excited for you that you are about to graduate! Do you think the LVN program was more difficult to manage time-wise than the ADN program? At the last info session, they said you have approx. 20 hrs/week clinical in the LVN, but only 12 hrs/week in the ADN (I guess because it's spread over 2 years). Is that what you experienced?
  9. mygr8life, I forgot to say that you have a great HESI score & I bet you'll easily get in to the LVN program. Is Micro the only class you haven't taken for the ADN? Good luck - I'm praying we all make it into the LVN class!!!
  10. I read on either this thread or another that 95 on the HESI is the max you get credit for on the ADN point system now. I haven't taken Micro or Lifespan either so I doubt I could get in the ADN. Especially since I also live outside the service area. It doesn't hurt to apply though! Do you live in Austin?
  11. Thanks - you did great, too! I bet you will get in!!! Do you have both points for Intro A&P and the Computer class? At the testing center, they told me they had TONS of people who didn't make an 80 and so, they couldn't get an application.
  12. JuJuHyde, I wish we were at the same campus but we'll have to keep in touch on here instead. I'm so happy for you, too and wish you the best of luck! I'm kinda worried about the fall semester because it sounds difficult, but we'll just have to work our butts off and study hard for Pharmacology, especially!
  13. Thanks, brandiew7678! Yes, I bet yours will come tomorrow! My friend, who also lives in NW Austin, didn't receive anything today either. I had the computer class but not A&P for the points. I'm taking that this Spring semester. My HESI score really helped me - 99.33. We definitely didn't get the point for living in the service area! So, I think I got 7 points - 6 for the HESI score + 1 for the computer class.
  14. I wish you the best of luck, too! And everyone else whose mail is slower than ours! I'm hoping for y'all to get good news tomorrow or Friday!!!
  15. I just got home and RAN to the mailbox! I got my acceptance letter from the Taylor LVN program!!! I'm so happy!!!!
