  1. Its a CC program so over the summer I will be at school from 0900 until 2040 on Mondays and 1545 until 1830 on t-th. The fall schedule has not bee posted yet but that will be NUR 108 with lab lecture and clinical. TBD.
  2. I am beginning school at the end of this month taking 3 classes and working 32 hours a week. Dosage, Intro and Assessment I am unsure about how to schedule everything. I work nights M-TH from 2200 until 0630 and school is evenings until 2000-ish. I have never used planners before and am not quite sure where to start. I need to find time for workouts as well as work and school. Any Ideas on where to start?
  3. I know it seems overwhelming, I have been trying for the last 10 years to get everything in order and something always came up. I just got accepted in april and every trial and hardship and moment of doubt was completely forgotten. It took me 10 years and all of it was worth it to be here now. Please don't give up, if you want it this bad you're going to be an amazing nurse!!!
  4. I currently work as an anesthesia technician and would recommend accelerating your RN. I am not sure about everywhere but primarily we assist when needed and aren't at all involved in the anesthesia care. I feel like you would do yourself a lot more good getting out there and doing nursing because it is all about maintaining your patient and as a tech you have NO hands on with the patients. That ICU time after you get your RN is what is going to be really important in your career goals. The only up side to being a tech would be the recommendations you could get people to write and you can do that as an RN as well. GOOD LUCK~ ----Correction I am not sure ow the attendings are everywhere but I am also at a Teaching facility - you could pick the brains of the CRNAs residents and attendings that you work with . I have a bit- they are obliging but always keep in mind that they are at work. Sorry about that
  5. I am applying to an ASN program and if I do not get in the plan is to get all of the required preadmittance course work done for my BSN so I can go straight into it after I do finish my ASN
