  1. Good morning, I have a question that I've been wondering about as I read through the posts here. I read a lot about hospital nursing and LTC nursing, but I don't see many nurses here that work in a different environment, such as working in a doctor's office, or school nurses or public nurses...the ones that do blood donation clinics...you must be out there somewhere. Also I'm wondering why you chose this kind of work over hospital or LTC. Thanks--have a good day everyone. Coco
  2. so all in all when it comes down to it it all depends on the teacher. I am dreading stuff like microbiology, pathology & chemistry, but I'm happy to see these words here under the heading "loved" -- it gives me hope that even though these aren't my strongest subjects...the teacher might actually make a big difference and I might actually do well! Thanks everyone!! Coco
  3. :chuckle So what is the hardest class you took during nursing school and which was the easiest? Do you have any study tips you might want to share with me...I'm pretty sure others will appreciate this too! Another question I have is nursing students stick together....I mean I am going into this 4 year program, I don't know anyone and to top it off I'm a mature student with a family?? I'm sorta nervous about that...I was never popular girl in school and do not want to start "college life" or anything...ok...I WANT SOME FRIENDS!!!! :):):):) :imbar :imbar :imbar ~Feeling silly! Coco P.S. Are you ready for my thousands of questions I have about nursing school.....BEWARE :chuckle
  4. OK, I have been out of school for over 8 years and I'm going back to a nursing degree program. What to bring to class has been an issue lately on my mind. How do you keep track with all your courses (binders...??) and are students allowed to bring tape recorders or laptops to class?? Please share!! :) Thank-you in advance! Coco
