  1. My tuition statement says it won't post until 9/2. Also, anyone that didn't see the post we have a fb group if youre interested. UW DNP Class of 2023 ?
  2. I emailed the advisor and she confirmed that I had done it correctly so I'm thinking since it let you that you're all good!
  3. Also, make sure you selected the correct one. There are the state based sections (I think A) and then the fee based sections (I think B). I was restricted from section A because my track is fee based.
  4. I live in Alaska, so it's difficult for me to make it to the information sessions. I've just listened to the recorded version online a few times. I don't know what the male:female is, but maybe you could ask at one of the sessions. Good luck :)
  5. The Kaplan is tailored to each school so you have to take the test from each uni that requires it. A lot of the WA schools use TEAS and UA associates programs now use HESI.
  6. Hello, I applied last year and I'm considering reapplying. I made it through the proctored essay, but was not selected. I have all of my pre-reqs done this time and started working as a CNA in March. Hopefully, this will help me in hours of experience and getting a better LOR from an RN. Good luck to all!
  7. I did not get in, but I am totally okay with that. It'll be nice not to have classes for the firs summer in a few years. I'll catch you all on the flip side and congrats to everyone that got in!
  8. oh rococo, that sucks! I hope you find out ASAP!
  9. Congrats InternetLurker! Cdo0, at least you got into a great program! Congrats to everyone!
  10. happy_unicorn, That's great news! In previous years I've read that they can get that far. It just depends on how many people change their plans. They could take you all the way up until orientation in September!!
  11. Congrats kaleaud!!! You have to spill the beans on your "stats" (if you're comfortable of course :) )
  12. Ugh, the postmaster said up to 5 days...I'm only 650 miles north!!!
  13. Yay, congrats msd123!!! So is the envelope thin? The anticipation is killing me!
  14. Anyone get a letter today?!
  15. I'm hoping mine gets here by Friday. Fingers crossed!
  16. Today is the day! It's like Christmas Eve!
  17. Rococo, If I don't get accepted I will stay here in rainy, beautiful Ketchikan, Alaska with my wonderful friends and partner. I will apply for the ASN program here, due July 1, but program doesn't start until January 2016. There are 8 seats and usually around 18 apply. They have a points system and I've got a pretty high score. I will most likely reapply for the 2016 year at UW since I will have only completed one semester of the ASN program at that point. I would finish with a BSN one semester later than the ASN program so I'd totally take the opportunity to transfer. I will be happy with either outcome at this point. There are pros and cons to both options. Like living away from my partner for 1-2 years if I go to UW. I'll definitely be happy to finally know where I'm going to be living in a few months; that's been the hardest part. Our lease is up on my house and we're waiting to find out whether I'm going to Washington before looking for another rental. Fortunately, I know quite a few people in Seattle since Ketchikanites flock there for some fun or to get back to city life after living in the boondocks on an isolated island! Good luck everyone and may the odds be ever in your favor!
  18. Adrian and the committee both said they would be mailed on the 7th (Tuesday).
  19. Arcade Fire? Good band. Our fates have been determined and sealed...now we wait to be let it on the secret. Oh, the humanity!!!
  20. Not to beat a dead horse...but Adrian Acosta sent me an email today that the committee is making final decisions on Friday. Our fates will be determined on April 3rd! I think they've answered my question three times now, but I don't mind! Hey Rococo, I have to ask something I've been wondering for a while now - is your name in reference to the musical/artistic rococo period?
  21. Rococo, I'm sorry about not getting into SU, but like court2889 says, keep your spirits up! It's hard to take it in stride when we've worked our butts off to get this far. The fact that we've chosen such a competitive major means we won't give up, right!? I got another email for some reason telling me that letters will be sent on the 7th. One more week...well for me it'll be how ever long it takes for the letter to get up here. No matter what though...we'll all look like this guy>> before we know it!
  22. Rococo, did you get your SU letter? I can't sleep...I just want to know! My landlord is patiently waiting for me to tell her if I'm renewing my lease and it's all dependent on UW. This is a true test of patience.
  23. It took three days for them to answer my email so I trust the date they gave me. I would image that someone answering the phone is told to give the stock answer of "by the 15th".
  24. I wish UW would update their blog about the DNP students already getting their letters...then maybe they'd hint at when we'll get ours...I'm tired of stalking the DNP threads!
