I live in Fairfax County, where 66 and 29 meet. I've never actually been to Charlottesville, so I have no clue which way I'd take to get there.

I think mine went pretty well. Hopefully we start hearing back within the next couple weeks.

My interview is scheduled for 1/18! I have no idea what to expect... I've never had to interview for school. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

I just got the email about an interview! I've been nursing since July.... I'm a brand new nurse. Not going to lie, I half expected them to shut me down based on that alone, but I guess we'll see how the interview goes. From where I live the drive is about two hours. If we're only on campus one or two days a week it's not so bad. Another girl I work with applied as well, so if we both get in at least we can car pool.

I know exactly what you mean... but at least you're waiting patiently! I, on the other hand, am waiting quite impatiently. Do you live in the Charlottesville area? If accepted, I'll be commuting from the DC area.

Has anyone here applied? Has anyone heard back yet? They're supposed to be doing interviews next month, so I just wanted to see if anyone else is waiting like me!

Is there anyone in here I could talk to via private message about nursing student/patient relationships (not romantic)? Preferably someone who is or was a psyche nursing clinical instructor. I need some advice, and I'm not prepared to talk to my clinical instructor about it at the moment.

I'm going to try, if I can get out of work. I'm really hoping I can go.

Also, when did you get an email telling you that your application was going to the admissions committee?

eva94, did you apply to the regular ABSN or the VBSN?

My app has gone to the admissions committee... Finally!

I'm seriously thinking the VBSN goes through a different process... A much slower process.

I called a couple weeks ago and the person I spoke with pulled up my info and said I should know by the end of this month. I'm starting to doubt that.

The last email I got was the one saying the application was complete, and the next email I get would be the one letting me know it's gone to the admission committee. That was back on October 6th.

I'm ready to cry I'm so anxious right now. What is taking them SO long?! Has my app seriously not even gone to the review board yet? Ugh...

Seems like they are all over the place with response times. Some people get their decision within days of being sent for final review, and others seem to be taking weeks. Someone on here (don't remember who it was) had their transcripts verified exactly a week before mine and got their decision two weeks ago... My app still hasn't been sent to the review board.
