you honest opinion
I would like to ask people who have already started working as a nurse, we learn alot in nursing school, but obviously we cant learn everything there or we would be in school forever. How much of what you know now is from working at the hospital? in terms of diseases you "know about" but did not cover in class, or any other situations where you were not taught in nursing school that you had to learn in the hospital. Also how do you bring up this conversation to your fellow experience nurses? that you just do not know how to deal with a certain illness

Feeling incompetent in nursing school
I currently attend a "community college" RN nursing program, i am not "struggling" my average for most test tends to be around 82-86 with a few higher grades in the 88-92. during my clinical hours there are many other major nursing programs such as the University of Miami among others that also experience their clinical in the same hospital (Jackson memorial hospital), and i just cannot shake the feeling that when i graduate nursing school i will be incompetent in comparison to the new grads in other major nursing programs in the sense that those students graduated from a harder program than i did.

Short / long term goals
i have two diagnosis that i am having trouble making a short term/ long term goal can i please get some help. #1. Risk for falls r/t elevated blood glucose level as evidenced by patient fainting and being found on the floor of their home with no recollection of the incidence. #2. Ineffective coping r/t death of spouse as evidenced by patient crying, appearing withdrawn, poor appetite, high blood pressure, and patient stating she would like to "be left alone". Here is the case study scenario: Mrs. D. is a 73-year-old recently widowed female with a history of CAD, MI- 5 years ago, NIDDM- 7 years, and fairly good health. She was brought into the ER by her daughter, who because she could not reach the patient by phone went to the patient's apartment and found the patient on the floor with no recollection of how she got there. The patient has been admitted with a diagnosis of syncope. Vitals signs: 148/94, 93- irregular, 24, 97.8 F, blood sugar 317. The physical assessment shows no signs of injury or bruises and the patient is able to move all extremities without any pain. At present Mrs. D. is quiet, answers questions appropriately with short replies, is withdrawn, states that she wants to "be left alone", and has been see crying. Her appetite is poor, color is pale, and she cannot remember the last time she had "a decent" meal and "could care less".

(question)1. An oral tablet has strength of 0.25 mg. The order is to give 0.125 mg. How many tablets will the nurse give? Do I do it like this? "X" tablet= 0.25 mg * 1tab/0.125 = 2 tabs? Or like this? "X" tablet =0.125 mg * 1tab/0.25mg= 0.5 tabs? (question)2. A client is ordered 150mg of aspirin. 300 mg aspirin tablets are available. How many tablets would you give? This question has similarities with question number 1, but where I get confused is where do I put my "X" under the strength? Or the order?

help with pharm question please/thank you
the 200mg/ml because 1ml is the max administration for an adult male subcutaneous. the first concentration is 0.5 ml which is below the range, the second concentration is too high because of the equation i just posted which equaled to 1.2ml which is already above the max concentration allowed subcutaneously
