  2. I know this is an old thread but i have to comment! It's so frustrating how hospitals prioritize customer service rather than patients health! Makes me wonder what the purpose of healthcare is all about nowadays. Also out of three countries I've worked as a nurse at US is the country that FEEDS the people's drug addiction by giving them more and more pain meds just to get a high score why? Because one of the question hcahps intelligently have on the survey is how their pain was handled. Every junkie in the world's dream. How frustrating
  3. Hi Guys! I was wondering if I you guys can give me some advise I had an interview 2 weeks ago for Telemetry floor and the director emailed me last friday that she submitted my paperwork to the HR and they should contact me soon. I haven't heard from them its only been 2 days since friday, do you think its a good idea to call the HR and follow up? I havent signed anything yet and the waiting is killing me
  4. Hi guys I was wondering if anyone can help post starting salary at Centinela. I'm waiting for HR to call Manager told me two weeks but I got an offer at a facility for $31 per hour i heard Centila offers lower. Anyone please thank u so much!!
  5. Thank you guys!! yes I was lucky because like I said I was the first batch in my school we did not have to fight for our cases but we did have to be on duty on sundays and a couple of days during school breaks which at that time we thought really sucked but fortunately it saved our asses here in Ca!
  6. Hi Guys! just wanna share my story. I sent my application for endorsement on June 16, my school sent all my papers including my TOR, RLE, certified copy of cases with seal (my school keeps copies of cases thank God cause i lost them), academic calendar and clinical rotation schedule summary. The board received my school papers July 3. After reading all the posts here I was already losing hope but i still prayed. I did a novena to St. Jude for 9 consecutive days and on the last day of my novena i checked my breeze account in the afternoon and my lic number was posted! I had my aunt to request a copy of my clinical cases though and she emailed it to me and it was all concurrent WHEW!!! that's why I did not have a problem! I was the first batch of nursing in my school and there's only one class with less than 25 students, we did not have to fight for our cases like what it usually is for big schools. Although we had to be on duty on sundays and during holiday breaks, I used to HATE it and our dean before for all the torture of having to be on duty on a freaking school break and sundays but now oh my god I THANK her for that!! I also found out 3 of my batchmates got their rn lic too after 2011. I am super grateful and super blessed to have this privilege. So don't lose hope and have faith!! Nothing is impossible with GOD.
  7. Hi Guys! Just wanna share my timeline for endorsing my CO lic: June 16 Ca BRN received my application June 29 Cashed check and breeze email confirmation July 3 Transcripts were received July 24 License number posted on breeze!!!
  8. I know i'm still waiting no letter from them yet. May I ask what happened to your case? since your school don't have a logbook?
  9. thanks guys! just read somewhere that the OP's analyst said something about taking MSN or taking the deficiencies that's why I asked
  10. thank you so much for your response!
  11. Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I've read a couple of posts here saying that another option to have CA rn lic is to have MSN and they will give us the lic without repeating the MS and OB, is that true? now for MSN i know you'd need to have an RN lic to get into the program, what if you study in a diff state where you have your RN lic and then come back to california once you finish MSN would that work? I'm planning to move to Las Vegas if I dont get my ca rn lic by endorsement and I'm trying to decide whether to do PA school but if I can get licensed here in California upon finishing MSN school i'd choose NP program in a heartbeat! Hope someone can help me clarify this. Thank you so much!
  12. I know I was surprised too that's why I asked here thank you so much for the info! :)
  13. Hi Guys, I was wondering LV RNs could you please let me know how the pay is there in LV? I'm considering relocating from CA, I heard St. Rose pays really well $36/hr no exp starting salary but i have not confirmed if it is true. Also, how is living there in Vegas? Thank you so much for all your help!
  14. Hey guys! I'm trying to get my CO lic endorsed here in california, but I'm 99% sure they will deny it due to concurrency issue. I've always thought about the NP route but the thing is in order to practice as NP here in Ca i'd still need a ca rn lic so I'm thinking about the PA-C route. Plan is to move to Vegas work as RN there and study PA-C for two yrs and then come back to california when i'm done with my masters. Seems to me that doing so will be better than wasting TIME waiting for a school to accept you for MS and OB program and MONEY. I think its better to spend your money and time earning your masters than repeating what you've already learned. Its only two yrs and the pay is 2 times better or more.
