I have a question - about to go to Occupational Health at Memorial. Is this where I will get the information about where I am suppose to meet to start work? I am also hearing about Culture Day being 1/22, but my the paper has a start date of 1/25. I am just a little confused and hoping I am not the only one

Found out they are just delayed by the holidays, but we start soon so I was getting concern. I just have to wait

They are also opening new positions. I got calls from hospitals I did not even apply to. My last call was last week so yes. You also have to remember St Lukes and TCH interviewed people late so if they accepted one offer, but they really wanted St Lukes or TCH that could be one of the reasons you are getting calls.

Question? I received my offer letter from Memorial Hermann, but I am still waiting for the onboard paperwork. How long did you wait for the onboard email. I am a little on the excited side and know our start time is soon.

I just wanted to say to those who has not gotten an offer, DO NOT GIVE UP. Places such as Memorial is still opening New Grad positions and calling . They are trying to make quick decisions but it is not over. Also remember, if someone does not pass the NCLEX, that is another slot. I also learned to reapply especially if it the position looks like it was reposted. Good luck to everyone.

I am trying not to lose hope, but I am going to followup with everyone in the next couple of weeks just in case someone they originally selected fails the NCLEX.

They posted for weeks as Graduate Nurse, but it closed I believe a week or two ago.

Also did they call you or email you?

No this is a location I did not initially apply for. I was just in the Memorial database and they called so I doubt there will be a second interview situation since I will be meeting with the director and managers.

unfortunately, I did not interview with the panel of managers because they were running long and late which may have caused me to miss a scheduled interview with Memorial. So, I do not think my interview went well. However, my Memorial interview went well and I have another interview tomorrow so I am praying for the best.

Received call from Methodist sugar land on Wednesday to schedule interview on next week.

I received the email as well. I called the second number because the first went to voicemail. I am on hold now. She initially asked for my number, but I told her I would hold, lol

I had my clinicals there and kept the cards that was given to me and emailed.

I actually contacted some of the Nurse Managers directly on Friday so since they are just starting to call people to set up interviews, hopefully I will hear something soon.

I have interviewed with quite a few of them. Even some regionals that I did not apply for. They do not tend to call back unless you got the job or they plan to schedule an interview. At least that has been my experience. I am still interviewing. I have posted on a different thread regarding the other locations. This thread has a lot of people who have already received or accepted positions. So I opted to start my own threads about specific locations to try to narrow down the sites.

Be patient. You have experience so they may be classifying you as RN II. I looked at their website and that is what they are asking for so, this is a good thing if they contacted you. I just heard from Memorial Southwest and I thought they already made their decisions for the Nurse Residency, back in October so do not worry about the delay in HR contacting you back. Good luck!

Wow! Do you know when they started to call people? It would be nice to be close to home.
