Jasmine, go to career uniforms.com. they have our scrubs there ours are the purple ones (221 C). I don't know what they want us to wear but on the form it has a "package" which includes 2 scrub sets a labcoat a pocket kit a stethoscope and 3 emblems. Then they list sets at 26.95 per set for regular, 27.50 for cargo pants, etc. Im a little fuzzy on what exactly we are supposed to wear but I would just say bring cash about $300 to be safe since you have to pay the day of. Also guys I am confused on the fingerprinting process like can someone tell me step by step how to do it? Thanks you guys for all your help.

My sheet said woman's uniforms would be 184 plus tax plus supplies 65 I think. Only pay in cash or money order. I'm confused about the student service orientation January 8th. It doesn't have a time listed on there.

Hey guys! I got my letter finally today! I got in I'm so excited!! Yes there's so much to be done so quickly! I can't wait to meet you all and for the program to start. We are going to have a great year and journey and I know we will grow close. And as far as the transcripts I would just say resubmit, it would fb awful to miss out at this point just bc you didn't resubmit!

Thank you so much Nessa. I kind of had a breakdown earlier, this is literally the most important thing to me, to get into a nursing program and get started. I cried after reading everyone has their letters but I am also happy for y'all and I know if you got in you deserve it! I am just praying by Monday at least I will know what the situation is. Did the letter say anything about when uniform fitting will be? I want to be prepared in case for some reason I do get in and my letter is just late. I don't know why it's taking so long because they send them even if it is a no

Congrats to you all! I am so worried now still no letter and its 5pm. I don't think the mail comes this late so Im just starting to feel like I just want to know! Regardless of yes or no I just need an end to this needless anxiety and stress. If I don't see yall in class good luck to you all and work hard!

Hi Emerald, I also called this week on Thursday and was told they were sent out as well. I am wondering where the letters are too pretty nervous at this point. Good luck to both of us, but I guess they are just taking forever with the process! Try not to stress too much and hopefully we both get it! I'll let you know when I get mine.

Smarty pants, yes thank you. How long did it take for the fitting like would we have to take off work or something. Thank tou so much for your help! I love how nurses help each other. I've always been told that nurses always help each other along the way and that has always been evident in my life!

Haha well I am glad I'm not the only one. If I don't get in im applying for the following semester though. And yes I havent either and I am kind of worried about not being able to get aid but if we are already CNAs we will not have to pay as much thankfully. I might just have to take a bank loan if financial aid doesn't let us at this point. I hope we get the letters this week!

Wow well you have a lot going for you. I think you will get it :). I still haven't gotten the letter but trying to be patient (checking the mailbox multiple times daily). I feel I might start stalking the mailman lol. But let me know when you get yours. This Monday will be 3 weeks. And definitely if we get in we can be study buddies, I know that in nursing school that is so important. In my CNA class we had study group twice a week and it was so helpful and I am still friends with a couple of them.

Ahh I know I am going crazy! Haha. I can't wait til we hear back. I was reading once we hear back if accepted we have a uniform fitting day. I haven't applied for financial aid, have you?

My interview was also less than 10 minutes, mostly about why I chose nursing, my past experiences, asked about my current CNA job and if I was ready/willing to quit to commit to school. Good luck, when are you applying?

Hi, I am so nervous waiting as well! Can you let me know when you receive your letter and I will do the same! We should be getting them within the next week or so and I am praying we all get in!

Me too, I thought I did well in the interview, but I am still nervous especially after reading what people are saying on here. How were your test scores and your pre req grades? I was told they would be sent 2 weeks after our interview but I read it would be up to 4 weeks. I am so anxious waiting, so I am praying for both of us! I hope we both get in!

Also does it really take 3-4 weeks? They said it would be 2 weeks and I feel like that is cutting it close if class begins January 5 and it is already November 9th.

Smarty pants, do you think I have a chance of getting accepted? I have been praying for about a year to get in somewhere and I keep getting rejected from other colleges Texas Woman's University and UTMB and UtHSC. It's so competitive and I realize that, and I have worked hard to try and improve my grades but my GPA is still just a 2.9. I saw this program and thought I could actually have a chance here

Hi, I applied to the LVN for spring 2015 and the interview with the LVN seems confusing but it is actually easy. All you need to do is ask some general questions what do you enjoy about your job what are the benefits what are the downsides how long have you been in the profession would you recommend and why and etc. also use those responses and create a paper from them. I'm sure you will do a good job!

Hi guys, reading this thread and I am getting nervous about it. I applied for spring 2015 and I was sent the letter in the mail. I had my interview this past Monday and turned in the paperwork. I am nervous waiting though. My GPA isn't great but that's because I took about of other classes before nursing was my goal. My Nutrition grade was a B and my teas scores were 74% reading and 86% math. Any suggestions from anyone?
