  1. Hi All! First CONGRATS to everyone who got in. My name is Diana and I just graduated in May 2016 from Brookhaven nursing program and passed NCLEX in June 2016. I am now ready to get rid of all my books. If anyone is interested in purchasing them, please feel free to email me at [email protected] or you can text me at 214-662-9468. I also have the HURST videos and study materials which are SUPER helpful! Thanks, Diana
  2. Just be yourself and be honest that's the best way. Be sure to tell them why nursing is important to you
  3. Jan. 13th and 14th
  4. You were in the 10 am Tuesday interview? Which one are you? I was the dark curly haired one. So glad to see you got in as well! Congrats!
  5. Yes I think hep a is required. I think that is the one I just got and it's a series as well
  6. Good luck today! :)
  7. Ok so here it is. We went in and sat in a room, they handed us a piece of paper with the topic on the top and set a timer. She came back 10 min later and took them up and said once they had read them they would come get us. Another 5-10 min passed and they took us into another room and told us what seats to sit in. We were sitting in a row across from two professors and the deans assistant. They went down a list of questions one by one asking each of us a question. Then it started over. Once we had all answered our two questions they asked if we had any questions. Then that was it. Whole thing took about an hour. The interviewers were really nice and warm. Wasn't as intimidating as I was expecting. Good luck everyone.
  8. I wouldn't call it an essay. It was one page maximum. I wouldn't stress too much about it. It wasn't hard. Everyone will be fine. :) good luck to everyone who has their interviews tomorrow. Y'all will do great!
  9. Congrats to everyone who did their interviews today. The first group, you guys rocked! Everyone was really prepared and on point. Good luck to you all! :)
  10. Question: I'm kinda confused. On the website it says they accept 50 students and then it says they interview 50. So does that mean that we are in as long as we don't totally bomb the interview? Anyone have any insight on this?
  11. Good luck to everyone who has their interviews tomorrow. Mine is at 10 am so I will let everyone know how it goes.
  12. Room X1082 where u turned in your application. I just listened to the voicemail she left me the other day. :)
  13. It's an 18 month course because they work through the summers. No breaks. No way to move things faster. Sorry! :)
  14. Does anyone know if we will find out Friday 11/14 if we are in or not?
  15. That's what I was told also when I went up and spoke to a nursing advisor.
  16. Mjdunlap think we're in the same group. :)
  17. Tuesday 11/11 @ 10 am. I think that's the first group! Nervous! :)
  18. I know a few nurses that worked 32-40 hours a week and made it through. They didn't have children though.
  19. Nothing yet. Just left a voicemail on Friday.
